Cryptic telegram challenges

I was participating in the telegram challenge yesterday and one of the challenges was a cryptic challenge where you had to find the roulette number based on a number of directional clues. Kudos to Steve for coming up with that one but the problem with it was the bet ID had to end in 777. In my opinion these cryptic challenges should be a challenge of speed with the first player who solves it and rolls the number winning. The restraint of a bet ID slows down the flow of the challenges and defeats the whole purpose of solving the cryptic message putting too much RNG into it.

Everything will be easy if all the gamblers have a little respect and being responsibly at moment of chatting in "challenge room".  Is a mess and hard to find answers.  Steve should create very strictly rules about chatting there in order to avoid spamming, wrong bets. Is quite confusing most of time.  I saw it at today's challenge.  My opinion.

I enjoyed it even though I completely misunderstood the meaning and missed out on chances to win 🤣

It's fun to have different kinds of stuff to shake up the events. Variety is the spice of life.

Yes, some tasks cause difficulties for players. And it seems to me that this is what gives everyone the opportunity to try their luck and win. For some, it is difficult to immediately understand what is required, as many do not speak English and it takes time to figure out the task. And this confusion in the chat more confusing.

I really loved the cryptic descriptions. It makes it a double challenge to get it right :D

I also really dislike people posting non-winning IDs. With cryptic descriptions come more non-winning IDs, but some are straight spam. Those people (who spam with false IDs) should be muted for a day in the challenge room, so that they just can't participate further. It leaves more chances for those who respect the challenges and the chat room

I agree with you there.   There is already one challenge in finding the right number so i agree just getting over this hump should be enough to win the challenge when the number is rolled.   However Stake is always ready with a new challenge for everyone and these extra hard challenges make it so more people have a chance to win that just your typical roll a 7.

I agree with you with all the non-winning bet ids that flood the chat room. It's very annoying, like no one cares that you were one number off from winning the challenge, I mean really? If your bet I'd is a winner then post it otherwise leave it alone.

I think Steve was going for the challenge the be, well a challenge. Obviously he doesn't want to make it too easy to solve, it's suppose to be difficult. I imagine that's why he designs them the way he does such as having the bet I'd end in 777 along with the other requirements.

I do have to say, I did kinda enjoy it even though I didn't really understand it that much... I really did misunderstand the meaning of the challenge and I didn't even get close to winning when I found out what it meant... I spent most of the time trying to figure it out xDD

I think the existence of puzzles like this makes the users read more about rules and think about what to look for. I often see that there are still many users who mistakenly give bet ID on telgram challenges

I disagree. All the telegram challenges are done very quick, so everything that Steve is trying to do is to slow that a little bit and maybe give other people a chance to win. i have won two telegram challenges, both of them were 1000x plinko multiplier. I have never ever won telegram challenge with specific bet ID. It is really hard to win, you need to be TRULLY lucky. This guarantee random winners, very random winners. I think bet ID should be kept. However as I said, I have never won with bet ID, so it is very frustrating for me, but still I believe this system is not that bad.

man i love doing the challenges i think who ever thought of the idea of challenges is genius but man i would also like to say who ever thought about having to have a specific bet id to win the challenge is pretty stupid......i hate that bet i.d shit.....theres been times where lets say challenge is place bet on number 11 on roulette first 3 people to land on 11 which is 36x multiplier win but bet id must end in 777.....dude one time i swear i landed on the correct number maybe 5 times within 3 or 4 minutes but none of the bet i.ds matched 777 ...so i didnt win ....total garbage there

I do have to say I agree with you on that. I don't believe the fastest person to figure it out and hit  it should be constrained by a bet ID. That's something that would really piss me off is if I hit the target first, but my bet ID wasn't valid. Would make me wanna give up personally.

I enjoy the Stake Challenges.
Although, I must admit, I dont participate in most of them because a lot of the time I will still be sleeping (7am, my time).
I loved the idea of having to solve the puzzle to know what it is that you are suppose to hit.
I, personally, didn't like the idea of having to hit specific bet ID numbers..
But at the same time, if it takes me only 30 seconds to figure out the puzzle and takes someone else 5 minutes..
At least they would still have a fair chance in being able to win a challenge, you know?
The bet ID thing is more of Stake's way of pacing the challenges and giving everyone a fair chance, I think..
No matter how much it happens to aggravate me when I hit the target, but have the wrong ID number. 😂

Thats a good point. With the sheer amount of players that participate in the challenges no matter what level of complexity is added to the challenges, they will be completed.

I know right...it should be challenge of who can solve it first

Well, I do prefer challenges this way. So they don't depends just in luck but in thinking aswel. I'd like to see much harder challenges in the future!:D

Harder challenges are fun but should come with a better prize in my opinion !!

True! Prizes have been decreased a lot and they are actually way harder than back then. There was a $30 reward just for some high multipliers.

It would seems like Steve is being playful and creative by doing this cryptic puzzle solving challenges to figure out what exactly are the requirements to complete the challenges. 🤔

If you're talking about the math incorporated into figuring out what the bet ID is, then I think this is one of the best things that have happened, since many alts and bots try participate, which is not fair to the rest of us.
