legendy02 Posted Tuesday at 05:46 AM #1 Posted Tuesday at 05:46 AM When playing live dealer games on your phone, do you actually care about pushing high frame rates? I’m always tweaking my optimization and recording settings for mobile shooters to get the best performance, but I’m wondering if a buttery smooth display actually makes the live betting UI feel more responsive for last-second bets.
aquila86 Posted Tuesday at 09:59 AM #2 Posted Tuesday at 09:59 AM For live daler games the stream quality and stable connection matter way more than the frame rate, anything over 30fps is already smooth enough for watching a card turn. I get the logic about UI responsiveness but the real bottleneck is usually the casino server processing those last second bets, not your phone's refresh rate.
luxoul3u Posted Tuesday at 10:39 AM #3 Posted Tuesday at 10:39 AM I keep mine capped at 30fps to save battery after my phone died mid blackjack hand one time.
GravityGunner Posted Wednesday at 10:14 AM #4 Posted Wednesday at 10:14 AM switching off hdr in the game room settings hlps the timer respond faster when placing last second bets
sam73tsug Posted Wednesday at 10:42 AM #5 Posted Wednesday at 10:42 AM tbh i never thought about frame rate for live casino, its all about the stream bitrate for me, if the dealer's hand is a pixelated mess then no fps in the world is saving that last second bet
hal2zprnv Posted Wednesday at 11:13 AM #6 Posted Wednesday at 11:13 AM I actually noticed a difference when I switched from battery saver mode to high refresh rate on my tablet for roulette, the wheel spin looks way less choppy and I could tap my numbers quicker during those last 3 seconds. My bet history shows Ive placed more last second outside bets since then, not sure if its just placebo or the smoother visual feedback actually helps.
