There are a ton of free apps where you can play with fake chips against real people, it speeds up learning a lot fastre than just reading about it.

Viper11 if you've never played at all maybe start with just the hand rankings first, taht part is super quick to memorize and then the rest makes a lot more sense

The hand rankings are definitely the first step, I learned those in like ten minutes. After that I just jumpde into micro stakes games and lost a few bucks but it taught me way faster than any tutorial.
