Palmer is fun to watch no doubt but saying best overall feels like recency bias hitting hard. Rodri makes City tick in a way no one else does they literally fall apart when hes out that kinda influence is the real mark of the best.

I get the Palmer love but I honestly changed my tune after seeing Salah drag Liverpool through that Villa away game almost single handedly this season, his movement off the ball was just telepathic.

My mate put a tenner on Palmer to score first in the United game and he casually chipped it in like it was training ground stuff, proper cold blooded. Can't argue against his end product right now even if others have more influence across a whole season.
