Does Position Matter More Than Your Starting Hand?

I’ve noticed that the same hand can feel completely different depending on where I’m sitting at the table.

For example, I’ll happily open a wider range on the button, but from early position I become much tighter. Sometimes position alone seems more valuable than having a slightly stronger starting hand.

Do you think position is the biggest edge in poker, or do you still prioritize premium hole cards above everything else?

Yea position is huge, I remember limping AJo from UTG once and just felt trapped the whole hand. Meanwhile from the button with like 78s I can control the pot way better and its actually easier to play.
