Forum farming...

Hey there stakers...

So, I just wanted to create a really quick topic on this issue... Which I find actually ridiculous but I also want to hear your guys thoughts on this too...

So, let's get right into it.

My question is... What's the point in forum farming?

My opinion on this and my answer on this is that there is no point. I have seen a certain users on here creating nonsense and useless topics here on the forum and it is kind of annoying. Like honestly... What's the actual point in posting 5 word topics? It is just creating spam on the forum. It is quite bothersome because there is a ton of users on this forum that put a lot of effort into creating posts and also replying to them. And us forum users have politely asked the users that are forum farming to kindly stop because it is getting ridiculous and we have also tried giving them some advice. 

Who else is getting sick of the forum farmers? Because I certainly am. We are going out our way to try and help them and they're just obviously ignoring us...

Certain users here on the forum will know who I am on about...

So yeah what do you guys think? Do you get fed up with the amount of spam that forum farmers are creating here?

Each user who cares that the forum was as informative for everyone as possible can send a report to the staff of Stake, it helps us all a lot. I am personally grateful to those forum users who do this.

It's the pay for post.  People respond to incentives.  Fortunately, the supports and mods work to cut down on crap posts and anyone can report posts that don't add any value.

There are thousands of exceptionally low value posts, there's a probably one or two already on this thread, however you can easily find them on the recent posts when one person has made 10 posts 2 minutes apart.  There is almost never a quality post in the lot, but some generic comments interspersed with trips to craptastic threads like last letter game and never ending thread to "recharge" the value of their posts.  I wish the rules were a little more strict on low value posts, but things like that are very subjective.

Funny coming from you (not to be rude or anything), but your topics are literally so quickly put together, maybe within 10 seconds at the most, that your posts are examples of the ones people are complaining about...

Did you notice that some people make a topic with very little descriptive points of that topic or a topic that has been posted by another player just to get the high payout out of the rewards.. so practically does for the rewards.. if there were more restrictions then forum wouldn't be allowed

The thief asking why people steal ?

Its a pity Im on forum vacation RN, but its really disgusting to see ppl doing this for a few cents, instead of helping others with information that is badly needed.

For example, there is not a single post "tutorial on how to play crash" for example, with step by step explanations and screen captures for noob users.

But its faster to ask "why do ppl farm forum" (you already know the answer dear) and then add 528 words more that say nothing , because the question would be a too short post....

Just another hint. Ppl that farm forum publish very quickly 3 or 4 totally empty and useless topics and then withdraw the balance immediately, cause the goal was the balance and not the posts themselves. So looking at the forum wds and forum balance its easy to spot them.

I think there's always something of value to say -- i believe the adage, 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all' has no application here . lots of poor people (myself included) and lots of gambling addicts (myself included) will take the most advantage of free money that they can -- however, the difference is one's ability contribute to the topic at hand, and this is where bullshitting comes into practice, and assistance.

Well people it for the most obvious reason ... gaining satoshi.    What they don’t realize is when they get the satoshi taken back when the post is taken down for spam content or crappy post.

Most of us are forum farmers don't you think? Would you be very active here in Stake forum if there is no pay per post system? The difference between the forum farmers are how subtle they farm. Some are very obvious with the five word postings while others are giving effort and time on how they construct their posts with long content.

Any way, I usually report the five word post whenever I see one.

ok its god topic and good suggestion to adminstration but i observed the users who are telling on forum to people to stop spamming and farming but some of those are doing same thing lol counting with me mostly users forum reward balance is zero or some satoshi so its mean they are posting here for earn  but now i have learned about how to react to post and how to take a part to post topic   i am member of community from 2017 i did not spammed on forum in 2 years you can see my posts are just 300 lol

Yeah I agree with you. I don’t want to talk about farming with topics to read even plagiarized/references. That’s kind of topic farming isn’t problem because we also done that for forum contributing  rewards farming. Topic with 5 words and pictures in it is so pointless and it’s really annoying to me

Bruh did you read the entire post of the topic? I think he wants to point the spamming topics people like you did

Take it easy bro. I think he wants to mean useless/meaningless/pointless topic contributing people. Not concerned with rewards farming because we also do this because of rewards. We share our knowledge and experience in forum to get rewards. So seeing meaningless topics farming is really getting annoying

If somewhere is possibility to get free coins/money - there always will be abusers. 

Only just post length doesn't means everything. Sometimes short posts are way more useful and interesting, then talking about same and nothing...

Anyways, if I'm noticing annoying, meaningless, shitty spam post - I'm reporting it. The more community members will act like that, the more nice and clean forum will be

in my opinion if we find a topic that is not useful for the goodness of the forum we better report on the topic and let the moderator who does their work is worthy of being fortunate to maintain or just do a farm, so besides the moderator who oversees us as a forum member care about the continuity of this forum also has to work together to help the moderator if someone is doing a farm by giving a report button on their topic.

Forums were created to educate a specific group of persons, this topic is quite real when many users just use it to create useless topics just in order to get some free rewards.  Maybe a filter before place a topic is badly needed in order just to take those ones that will bring help to the community.  Warning advice to those who try to post a nonsense topics will be sent.  My opinion.

The best solution "How to stop the Forum sats farming" add a "dislike" button, if most people dislike your post, then that means your post is the worst, and the MOD will remove his/her topic/post
