Enzo Posted September 20, 2019 #28 Posted September 20, 2019 It's so risky buying/selling crypto with paypal for a few reasons. Main one being that paypal does not support it so if you are caught somehow you won't receive support if your funds are lost. You may lose your paypal account as well. Lots of people are able to send money, get there BTC, and retrieve there money before the person even knew what happened.
DERCRAFT Posted September 20, 2019 #29 Posted September 20, 2019 there are many sites where you can exchange bitcoin so I don’t know for me PayPal has risks but as a wallet I use it very well
iamsheikhadil Posted September 20, 2019 #30 Posted September 20, 2019 Crypto for PayPal is a hugely bad idea. You will get way less funds and that too at risk of chargeback and PayPal account suspension. Also, holding crypto is better than getting some PayPal funds lol! It seems to be pretty difficult to exchange your crypto for PayPal EUR or USD. I have been searching the net and also I cannot find lots of opportunities to exchange to your PayPal. There are a few like on LocalBitcoins but they sometimes (mostly) charge outrageous fees. For example buying BTC with PayPal on LocalBitcoins has a 1000€ spread. So you pay over 10% commission on the trade. would you guys be thrilled if there was a website that offers the opportunity to sell your crypto, not only BTC, for PayPal with reasonable fees? I know I would be. It sounds nice on paper but is really difficult to find a solution to the PayPal-Crypto issue as the risk is just too high. If it was likened to a poker game, PayPal would be the opponent that never folds, always shoving all-in, and, even when having lost everything has enough money to do it an unlimited number of times.
Forceowl17 Posted September 20, 2019 #32 Posted September 20, 2019 Paypal is the worst wallet ever. me on him even money not came. transaction failed.

philosophy Posted September 27, 2019 #37 Posted September 27, 2019 It seems to me that because of Paypal's strict policy we should not wait for exchangers trading with paypal. At least personally, I don't know any of them.

evet Posted April 10, 2020 #41 Posted April 10, 2020 The thing is my main wallet has the options to receive money from paypal, so it isn't much of a hassle for me. I only need to worry about the fees of transferring, nothing more.
Degens Posted April 10, 2020 #42 Posted April 10, 2020 Use localbitcoins as there is escrow and some protection over a Paypal charge back.
Aiza824 Posted April 10, 2020 #43 Posted April 10, 2020 PayPal will outright restrict your PayPal account and freeze all of your money inside it for 180 days if they found out that you are using their services to buy and sell cryptocurrencies. Be careful.
Hassan2121 Posted April 10, 2020 #44 Posted April 10, 2020 I’d like to work with both differently because alot of people complain about paypal, so i think it’s because I work with them separately
