[ASK] Bitcoin Gold (BTG) should i Hold or sell?

hello guys.. i've invested some money to buy BTG.. unfortunately i bought it when price at 0.07 btc.. currently the price stay at 0.046.. i need your suggestions should i hold or sell btg? will it going up like BCH?

its all my money  yeah because btg exist from bitcoin fork like bch.. i think it will going up like bch so i invested all to btg.. let's see the end of this month if its not going up then i'll sell a half

I think you should keep it for a while. We never know when will btg currency goes up. So it is safe for now to keep it.

Bullshit.. ther're a lot of cryptocurrencies except bitcoin which're worth of invest:

Eth, Etc, Ripple, XMR, FCN.. and lot's of the names i don't know

At this point, it's anyone's guess. I would have suggested not buying it at all in the beginning considering it was going to fall because everyone who has bitcoins would sell the additional BTG they got as soon as deposits are enabled, However, whether it will recover and rise even higher than the beginning (like what happened with BCH is uncertain), The terrible launch and slow start didn't help either...

I would say it's better to sell HOWEVER nothing is certain, in few months/weeks it might actually recover, so you can either cut your losses right now or keep it as a "bet".

Hard to say what can happen in the future. Seem that BCH gave some long term investors since the hard fork cancelled but BTG was just a pump and dump.

If you don't really need the money right now just hold your BTG, just another bad news for the BTC could make it rising again.

Plus the price in the last few days is just rising, it was 0.015 5 days ago and now 0.045. Keep them and as soon as it return to 0.07 sell them, there is some better coins if you want to invest (btc, eth, ripple, bch, ...)

If it goes down exponentially you could still exchange it for another cryptocurrency. To see how it is going you could use technical analysis. Maybe exchange it for a cryptocurrency that isn't worth so much and the volatility isn't so high(=I mean so that the trend stays constantly at the same point).

Dont sell now hold it for a while if price drops by 50 or more sell it that time. I held btz for a long time complete loss

If you bought Bitcoin Cash not too long ago when it's worth rose up; my advice would be to sell if you notice you'll get a little profit for yourself. - cause BCH will likely fall soon.

Bitcoin Cash wort rose up because Bitcoin's segwit 2 was called off, people ran to BCH for hope then.

Hold them, but if the price go any lower than that 0.01, I think you should sell immediately. If it doesn't go lower than that, I think you should just hold it.. the price might rise just like bch.

I really hope this investment works out for you.  As I've discussed in some other threads, https://forum.stake.com/topic/1836-what-is-bitcoin-gold-and-your-opinion-on-it/?do=findComment&comment=35821I think the best reason to sell, in addition to not knowing why someone else would buy, is that the developers have a lot of coins from their solo mining efforts, at some point you risk them dumping their coins.  Of course, one day Satoshi may come back and dump his 1 million plus Bitcoins!

if you want to invest i suggest Ripple / ETH, it's more profitable with really big users right now. BTG is a clone, just like BCH, dev has million of coins of them.
