Kargai Posted December 4, 2017 #1 Posted December 4, 2017 Hy guys and girls, since yesterday we have seen a big number of new accounts created just to promote the DeepOnion coin. Just be aware that it's probably a scam and don't fall for it. You can see the -16 trust of the author on bitcointalk here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=321080 And a topic with a loooooots of complains here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057229.0 They just create multiple accounts on forums around the web to promote their coin. Just let them speak alone in this forum and Stake's team will delete the threads and ban the accounts. Don't hesitate to report them Thanks to all !
barbaris Posted December 4, 2017 #2 Posted December 4, 2017 Thanks @Kargai Yesterday and today there were a lot of new accounts that promoted it.

It's easy to blame when you didn't know the hole story about deepOnion at bitcointalk. Till now there is no real prove of the statement you made. Lauda is the old user of bitcoin talk and main hater of DeepOnion is jealous. She just make too many false allegations. She basically give to DeepOnion's Dev red trust only coz the team of project decide to stay anonymous. DeepOnion had no ICO just free disribution and look at this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/ is it looking like scam ? Don't make fake statements like this. Thanks and also you can visit the most fast groving Thread on bitcointalk to knew more about DeepOnion with 2000+ pages already https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006010.0
plpatel Posted December 4, 2017 #12 Posted December 4, 2017 not everything can be scam isn't it? there is difference between promotions and scams. you can not say promotion is scam and scamming is promotion.

If there are a lot of scam reports on one programm/product the odds of it being a scam are very high. Thats the case with this right here
plpatel Posted December 4, 2017 #14 Posted December 4, 2017 Don't you promote your product and without promotion there would be no sales. The more you promote more your sales are, isn't it? And scam is different, where you are lured of profits beyond reality. They hand you lolly-pop at the price of GOLD.

wilberthh Posted December 4, 2017 #16 Posted December 4, 2017 This is new to me. I'm hooked by deeponion to be honest, the coin is just damn good and the price keep rising. I'll read more about it.

The topic at bitcointalk is cleaned by the owner of the thread everytime people say something too negative about the project. Want a proof ? Take this one : People know me here, they know i don't make false assumptions or blame other people whitout reasons. But it's more difficult to clean a thread with complains about the project when you are not the author of it , isn't it ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057229.0 4 hours ago, plpatel said: Don't you promote your product and without promotion there would be no sales. So for you a good way to promote a project is to get rid of all the negative comment on the main thread ? Going to other forums creating dozen of accounts just to spams 1,2 or 3 comments saying "woaw the project is the best" ? that's plain stupid that's a proof the project can't have good comments by itself it's a really, really bad marketing strategy. Let's continue to dig, 2 pages of topics created with deeponion+scam on bitcointalk : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2 https://deeponion.org/community/threads/article-deeponion-is-a-scam.13860/ To be honest at first I just thought it was a really bad marketing way of act on this forum. Didn't even care if it was a scam or not. But when I saw the owner of the thread deleting all the bad comments about the project, ... that's (in my opinion) enough to stay away from this project and dedicate time and money to others more truthworthy.
barbaris Posted December 4, 2017 #18 Posted December 4, 2017 Detective @Kargai Respect for you. This advertising company was doomed to failure.
hawkey42 Posted December 10, 2017 #19 Posted December 10, 2017 I dunno. I have invested on DeepOnion and won't withdraw since I already got my ROI and it still appears to be profitable for me, aidrops still ongoing and decent price. However, I do respect your opinion of the coin and the warning you issued.
akki785 Posted December 10, 2017 #21 Posted December 10, 2017 I didn't make any investment is deepcoin though, but got some free coins in airdrops and etc. So it's time to sell those at any cost..?? @Kargai nice digging man..
Boko90 Posted December 10, 2017 #22 Posted December 10, 2017 @Karal, i see your point, but i disagree with you. Just that it's a self moderated topic, does not mean that is a scam. Many of the threads there are self moderated, because there are many trolls that fud all the time. I can guarantee you that owner of the site does not come here and make multiple accounts, because i participate in that community and we try to spread the word about DeepOnion. This is one of the ways to market something, is it not? The tech behind DeepOnion is unique, there is no coin out there with those kind of features. Also they have a online merchandise shop, which is made very professional - another thing that is pretty rare for a crypto currency. I dont want to post links here, because it will look like a spam. So your opinion is yours of course, but for me is not a scam. Scam is confido for example, that promises you something and takes your money and runs away. DeepOnion airdrops 250 000 coins every week, some part is for all onion holders, some part is for community participators. It's the same as Bitcore, why dont we call it a scam then, because they also airdrop every week based on your holdings. Or we are afraid of Dev's dumping his premined coins? Oh boy, someone have 1 million bitcoins, its a scam! Or someone have 1 million DASH its a scam! In conclusion, tell me just one person scammed by DeepOnion, like actually get his money stolen by the dev's?
Ymerej Posted December 10, 2017 #23 Posted December 10, 2017 hhmmm read so much complain/comments about DeepOnion on a group from facebook .. carefull on investing
Boko90 Posted December 10, 2017 #24 Posted December 10, 2017 You have always DYOR, always!!! Never buy something just because you read some opinion in the forums!
