It's because you need to have 10 posts on the forum to take part in the challenge

Caroline, just like Kinou said, you do not have enough posts to be able to comment in Challenges section yet.
For official challenges, one of the requirements is to have minimum 10 posts. (https://forum.stake.com/board/138-challenges/, you'll notice it in every challenge)

For some other sections limit can be higher or lower, but it will be always noted under requirements what is the exact number of posts you need to have.
