Should we have the ability to switch off tipping ability?

I think we should have the option to lock tips as in not tip unless we enable tipping and we should be able to control the daily or hourly limits of tips and also to control max tip amount per tip to prevent mistake large tips.

If u think u not able to choose properly and make tip to proper user,

You can choose withdrawal option while making big transfer. (withdrawal amount is not big in stake)
Withdrawal amount on stake is not too big its just like 1$-15$ different for each coin.

I'm sorry to say this but this is useless if you have the thing called "self control" why would we need to have this kind of setting right? And why should you tip every time? Isnt difficult to hold your self from sending some to someone?

I don't know why you would want to disable tipping. There is completely nothing wrong with it and tipping people is a simply way to cheer your friends up.

Also, tools like Dinabot wouldn't exist if tipping was disabled, not supporting entrepreneurs on the site.

If you could have a better justification over why you think tipping should be disabled, I would be happy to hear it

I think there is no need to switch off the ability to make tippings since as of today, in order to make a tip you will first need to input your 2fa code which actually makes you think again too in that moment. Well of course after inputting the 2fa code once already you will only need to input it again something like 12 hours later. Unless your account does not have 2fa security then I suppose you are too putting risk of your funds already in the first place.

This is not the first time I hear about it. I really don't understand why it is such the problem? Why so many people have problems with the tips? They want extra protection before sending tips, they got it actually and now they want to disable sending tips? Do you give your account access to other people or you just (sorry) can't control yourself when sending tips?

I think you should just take a few seconds to check that you've gotten the user and tip amount right before pressing send, it really isn't that difficult. Or do you actually mean you can't stop yourself from sending tips constantly that's why you need to self-ban from tipping lollll.

I don't think it's necessary, because tips are very rarely done. at the moment it's raining and tips have to use 2fa, so I think that's more than enough. it's easier to make rain than to make tips. you just typed in / rain and send. but the tips, you just to specialize someone you give tips. so there will be no mistakes, unless you are not thorough

I strongly feel like we should be allowed to disable incoming tips... Or at least reject tips under a set amount. That's the one notification you can't disable, and it can get really irritating when people passive tip you during a winning streak. I've also felt that we should be able to set limits on gambling, for those of us that have less self control. Stake seems to be developing rapidly - I hope the developers can find the time to add some of these features to the site.

I don't see the point. You mean you want to stop yourself from being generous and keep everything for yourself? Simple, just close the chat window so you will not be able to see anyone or anything that will remind you of tipping someone or somebody else. If the notification is really bugging you, I would probably suggest that the team would add an option to disable notifications.

PS: Add 2FA to deter yourself from doing so because of the hassles it brings!

you only need to control yourself, there are many high rollers whom never tipped ever lol, i dont want to say names but there are many, so you can also control when to tip and when not, and how much amount to tip.

I don't think any need this to disable tipping option I think you need control yourself if you do this then you not need this option some player make good then play

I think this is a bit too much, I don't see any points of doing this. If you aren't able to type in a certain amount or username correctly and on top of that you don't double check (on a big tip) then there's nothing much else left to do for you.

Well if you disable tipping, that means you can't get any tips too, which in my opinion is really dumb, because you're literally denying possible free money. It should not be difficult to restrain yourself from tipping people.
