Sports betting can be easy if you follow a certain game. I myself never placed a bet on sports but As soon as international Cricket matches will start i will place although i don't like simulated matches so i usually avoid them. Thorough research is also a good thing

Sports betting is worth it. as there are many markets on which you can bet on. 

And you can do parlays which are like multipliers to increase your payouts 

In addition there are well established strategies which increases each individuals odds of winning. So its definitely worth it

I know nothing of sports so very rarely do sports bets unless I know the specific match or a friend has suggested. Numerous times Ive tried winging it and it ends up with me losing everytime
