Kargai Posted December 21, 2017 #1 Posted December 21, 2017 A recent study made by the European Commission's science and knowledge service mention that "blockchain will end paper based certificates, automate the award, recognition and transfer of credits, increase learner ownership and control over their own data, reduce institutional data costs and risk--but only if open standards are adopted" They recognize that actually an educationnal application of the blockchain is still at a baby level but things can become more credible in the coming years. The University of Nicosia for example is already playing with it and since 2015, the MIT Media Lab has been using Blockcerts for issuing digital certificates. skillex Posted December 26, 2017 #2 Posted December 26, 2017 Well if this will really be fully implemented in all school universities I think all lazy students will have a party for this since they wont need to go to school just to attend the promotional ceremony and recognition days which is supposedly be physically introduced is gone anymore

It will be accessible anywhere? And employer can verify it also online. Awesome thing about this is that you don't need to worry about losing any documents because all you have to do is just to remember your account and password. Brilliant innovation it will be in the future. Yes, brilliant innovations. But in connection with the development of these technologies, we are becoming vulnerable. All our personal data will be on the network. And as we know in connection with the growth of hacker attacks, we will not be safe. Worry about losing documents is not necessary, but you need to be afraid that someone can use them for their dirty purposes.
