What is the point of uploading your id to verify the account, I previously restored my phone and lost access to 2fa, I suppose that the verification is for those cases to verify that you are the owner, or what is the point of verifying the account? or what is the point of uploading your document, does anyone know

I was kind to the support and suggested at the beginning that my account was verified, I asked him if a photo was not enough holding my id, he said no, that's where he asked me then what is the point of doing it if to verify it does not work

They implemented the verification system because there are a lot of underaged kids playing on gambling websites with no suspension and they don't want to have a bad image as well , it's illegal to play on a gambling website if you are under the age of 18+,also some countries are banned by stake and if you verify you would get banned if you are from one of these countries. The fact that they are giving bonuses and better stuff is amazing , because most of the gambling websites out there require for you to be 18+ and they don't give bonuses for verifying

simply prevent multi account  for legit site like stake i think this is good for everyone, and prevent others who are taking advantage of bonusses and giveaways from this casino. i've heard during eddies stream some posted multi forum account, this will be controlled if kyc implemented.

Yes I think verifying account helps with underage people gambling however anyone underage simply wont  do it.

Verification of account is need because some user have multiple account if this become mandatory all player have only 1 account and no bonus and promotions abuse from other player that have multiple account

i agreed with yall about verify for prevent multiple account and underage but incase we lost 2fa for some reason ... we can provide them the information ( they will ask you supply some information like last deposit adress , main deposit adress screenshot , what is your ip adress , last tip username ...blah blah ) if you can give them all this information correct , i believe you will get your account back , and if verify is helpful in this case , it would be awesome ....but it not

I believe that verification is required before cash out on most online casinos so they can easier comply to various countries laws, as far as reporting winnings for taxation purposes.

 

Stake was attractive to me because they offered instant withdrawal and no mandatory KYC/verification, unless requested by stake.

 

To me, it sounds like requesting verification by incentivizing people to do it with 2x payment is simply a small step towards potentially requiring KYC from all players in the future, in which case I may do it or more likely decide to play elsewhere.

 

Truly, I don’t think stake cares a lot about multiple accounts unless you’re abusing the rain system / challenges with them. There is very little, if any, benefit to wagering on 3-10 accounts rather than one when it comes to weekly and monthly bonuses from my experience. Perhaps the base reward for vip level without wagering is worth it? I honestly have no clue but since stake is making money hand over fist, multiple accounts can’t be hurting them too bad or they would just curb 99% of it quickly— based on a conversation i had with support in the past, stake can most likely view your IP and any accounts your IP has been associated with and proxies aren’t going to protect you.

but it is aloud to have more then 1 account which eddie has said many times... so it isnt to avoid people having mutible accounts... it is however only aloud to be having 1 forum account and that way also onlhy aloud to try and get bonusses in the stream on 1 account...

Dont worry, stake casino is legit gambling site..all informations is being kept confidential .if you trust stake.. then allow yourself to KYC or submit your valid Ids...
