Kargai Posted January 2, 2018 #1 Posted January 2, 2018 ATM machine is not the best name to use for Bitcoin, it's BTM ( bitcoin teller machines), but they are spreading all around especially in the US where there is now around 1300 BTMs. Those 1300 BTMs represent approximatively 75% of the world total. Canada, Uk and Austria are the 3 others "big" markets for them. Coinsource is the biggest provider in the US with 160 machines actually but they plan to add 1000 more in 2018. Athena Bitcoin Network have 55 BTM in service right now, 6 of them were installed in the last month. So it's growing. In fact globally it's 3 ATM everyday who are implemented around the world. 100% of them have Bitcoin withdraw of course but 35% (1 out of 3) have some altcoins available too : mostly Litecoin (33%) and Ethereum (14%) but Dash (8%), Bitcoin Cash (5.5%), Zcash (0.7%), Dogecoin (0.2%) and Monero (0.1%) exist. Source : https://news.bitcoin.com/convenience-stores-and-pawn-shops-see-foot-traffic-from-bitcoin-atms/ What about your country ? Do you have a crypto ATM close to you ? Seem that in France we only have 1 of them if I believe this link https://coinatmradar.com/country/73/bitcoin-atm-france/
VIP Host Mirela Posted January 2, 2018 VIP Host #2 Posted January 2, 2018 I thought we in Serbia had only 1 but your topic made me check, and according to the same website you checked on, we have 4! https://coinatmradar.com/country/189/bitcoin-atm-serbia/ There are 3 in Belgrade and 1 in Novi Sad, which is not really that close (2.5 -3 hours drive to Belgrade, and even more to Novi Sad), but it's still an interesting surprise confirming the fact that crypto grabs more and more attention of Serbian (and other Balkan) people.
testB Posted January 2, 2018 #3 Posted January 2, 2018 Nothing near me, but being that I live in a lower density area it's not that surprising. Wish I had some around, it'd make it much more convenient to trade them. I'd imagine there's many more unaccounted for, no way there's only 1 in a country like France.
Snike Posted January 2, 2018 #4 Posted January 2, 2018 No fucking BTMs in Germany!?!??!? They dont want me to get coins huh?
xtinepink Posted January 3, 2018 #5 Posted January 3, 2018 I really don’t think that we have one in our country. ?
Dan Posted January 3, 2018 #6 Posted January 3, 2018 I have seen a fair few of them popping up around my area. Due to how lucrative bitcoin is, users of the ATM are now required to do verification checks. Not really an efficient business in my opinion.

Man dogecoin shouldve been like at least 20 percent since to withdraw bitcoin you need minimum 200k or 100k but doge coin 10 or sometimes less than that . Anyhow hope this comes in UAE so i can buy some games from my coins by withdrawing the money 4 minutes ago, xtinepink said: Really good news for us. Hope fees are less too? Lol every one worried about fees. They probably will make it like 10 or 5 but i cant predict anything but lets see . Only sad thing is dogecoin is 0.2% that means in some machines only.
karlsme123 Posted January 3, 2018 #11 Posted January 3, 2018 i hope this would be available in the Philippines as soon as possible because people here are active in cryptocurrencies..
