Sergei Glazev, an economic adviser to the president, told while attending a government meeting that the cryptocurrency would serve as a "useful tool" to evade western economic sanctions. Note that it will probably not be a "real" crypto in the sense that the government want to be able to track all the movement of the crypto and will not allow people to use it for certain things. Russia will already ask for miners to register and for ICO to follow some rules. What about a not really decentralized national currency ?

I mean, decentralization is the key factor that is why bitcoin is so popular. So, if a coin is not decentralized, then it will be a shitcoin..

skillex Posted January 5, 2018 #7 Posted January 5, 2018 This is an alarming news for the not really decentralized ICO coin since Russia is a big deal counrty in terms of economic affair. Considering Putin's decision regarding tightening the rules of each released coins maybe a little failure or shall we say a pending in transactions will lead to banning it, hoping not.
