is pump and dump illegal in altcoin tradings ? 

if yes, what is the punishment? what are the consequences ?

I read an article saying pump and dump in cryptocurrency markets aren't illegal yet due to markets aren't largely regulated.

However these type of schemes are illegal if you are engage on a regulated markets like stocks and bonds.

What is pump and dump lol ? I myself don't know that  Is that any kind of trading ?

it's some kind of pumping or boosting one particular altcoin giving false hope to investors and dumping aftewards or selling it on a high price. the market wouldnt be stable if there is a PAD

basically there is a law when it comes to pumping and dumping on stock markets it's undeniably true but when it comes to crypto currency there's no rule at all so im confused if PAD is legal to alt coin trading

Not illegal, for now.

But if you plan to join a group who do them be ready to act fast. They usually already have bought the coin before saying anyone, than they share with their "friends" for them buying too and pumping the price for them. You need to be in the first ones to buy directly or you'll end by loosing because they will probably sold their investment as soon as the coin start to pump.

im not really going to join. i wanna study the group if their activity is really profitable. 

if it is i might join them

well anyways as you just it might be true since i've been reading some articles about it lately and the owners of the channels for pump and dump do buy an alt coin and let their followers pump it up for them they will sell their coin and letting their followers hoping for shit.

and again they will make another channel

No it's not illegal, the problem is, it's hard to find those "whales group". Unless you are lucky, that is. 

Or if you are having lots of connections.
