Nonce skipped/missing bets

@Ghostnipplehas taken his time to help me compile my bet archive and told me that stake has skipped nonce or there are missing bets. I’ve asked tech support multiple times about this however I did not get any answer regarding this. If there is anyone familiar with what is going on please help me out on this.

yes stake could be provably fair and results can be checked however if nonce are skipped could this mean they know your patterns and skip nonce on purpose so you would meet with a streak of reds?

as you can see from the screenshots below nonce 8341 to 8389 is missing and there are multiple patches of missing nonce from thousands of bets. This is not the only patch.

Im currently facing the same problem, I had back to back bonuses on san quentin(one paid over a 100x, relevant), and after downloading my bet archive and trying to find the bets, I see that both of my winning bets are missing. On the images you can see that the winning bets are both missing from the archive. The reason I want to find it is because of the forum giveaway.

EDIT: I found my mising bets through support, seems as if the archive reader is flawed perhaps?

Yes I’ve checked. For those missing nonce I would have won 10 of those bets from 8341 as I was playing Low multiples of 1.08 to 1.1x.

nonce missing from 8341 to 8389 and just so happened at 8393 I lost.

That's like 10/48 winning bets.

Were you doing martingale or increase bet strategy upon loss?

And, did the skip of nounce effected your gameplay leading to loss?

I've had similar problems with some of the game simply resetting to before I started betting when I've hit a bonus.  It only happens on stake originals. In Crash it will skip a round or two before it places my bet. I've lost bonuses on both Scarab and Samurai. Support sucks, they just gave me the run around and accused me of using a VPN when I Session has my IP address. I'm in Canada and I filled out their verification form so they have my address. I'm not sure what that has to do with missing bonuses or bets not being placed in the rounds that I select. There is definitely something fishy going on.

A bet archive should be

> Complete
> Accurate
> Up to date
> Easy to access

A legitimate and fair casino should have no problem providing this to players, as it also protects the casino.

The fact that this was brought up last year and is still an issue leaves the player to their imagination as to why Stake would not take necessary steps to correct the problem.

Maybe if there was at least acknowledgement from staff we’d feel more confident in their record-keeping abilities.

Unless, you know… it’s intentional.

I guess if you are in the business of facilitating gambling (where the primary activity is the placement of bets), you don’t need to (want to?) keep an accurate record on the player side for transparency, auditing, or any other liability-related reason.

And yet here we all are…

I'm running into this same issue now. I was running plinko auto bet to complete a recent forum challenge, hit the required multiplier and hit stop. When I went to look for the bet it wasn't there so I contacted support. They advised me not to worry and that it would be in my archive. Upon review of my archive I'm missing nonce 2007547 to 2007664. Over 100 bets! I'm told by support that I am not to worry, it's not a big deal and "it is was it is". I think the small issue is that I risked my balance to complete an advertised promotion that I will not get paid out for, the larger issue is how can we say Stake is probably fair when they can't produce recent bet data?

Has anyone experienced this as well? I came across this article where nonce skipped actually happens due to casino’s end. Here’s an example at dicebitco

I urge all players to use betsesh verifier to check if they have missing nonce.

go to your bet archive download the session where you’ve had a bad day and check if games are skipped.

Hey guys,

Unfortunately due to technical issues, the bet archive went down briefly at certain points in time. However, all bets exist and no nonces were skipped outside of that.

Feel free to email through to us at [email protected] with the email subject "Bet Archive" and let us know which nonces are missing, including date and time (if applicable). We can retrieve missing nonces for you and if need be, provide a database dump of your bets and if you find nonces are still missing, then please let us know.

When it comes to the appropriate implementation of the provable fairness algorithm, there needs to exist at minimum two elements to the equation: the server seed and the client seed. When doing a mathematical computation for provable fairness, you need both parts to derive the fairly generated result. If you only have one part, that single input controls the result generation. Mathematically if no client seed existed for example, the chain of randomness would purely exist based on the input of the server seed. This wouldn't be fair, and that's why a client seed exists.

In the case for Stake.com we adhere to a commitment scheme, which means we will generate a random server seed before you create a client seed of your choosing. This means that at no point in time, as long as Stake derives their input first, it is impossible for them to control the outcomes, because the client seed is controlled by the player. This is the core fundamentals of why provable fairness is so powerful to prevent operator manipulation.
