Fake-money streamers and Stake's reputation?

Stake was built on the principles of fairness and transparency. I find it disheartening to see Stake building partnerships with known fake-money casino streamers.

I feel that working with individuals like Roshstein, who have been proven time and time again to be using "fake" balances, is damaging to Stake's long-term image and reputation.

Sooner or later, the powers that be will clamp down on this practice. We've already seen Twitch get banned in Slovakia and I can't see it being too much longer until other countries follow suit if unrealistic and irresponsible gambling continues to be broadcasted on the platform. I'd like to see Stake get ahead of the curve on this.

You can't say that you advocate for "Responsible gambling" while at the same time funding streamers to do $50k bonus buys on the way to punting off 6-figure balances, all while pretending it's their own money.

Stake appears to be moving in the right direction in terms of entering into the regulated markets, of the UK for example. No UKGC regulated casino would touch those streamers with a barge pole. Look at the fines companies like Bet365 have had to shell out for misleading practices and decide whether it's really worth it.

My alt got permanently muted without even a warning for talking about this in chat so perhaps a better discussion might be had over here on the forum. Or is this just something that Stake will continue to sweep under the rug by muting/banning users who bring it up?

I think the reason you got muted was because of the contradictory meanings in your messages you were putting across along with using an alt account to hide your real identity while making these posts.

You stated that you were using an alt to post your messages. (not sure if this is violation of rules or not). But hiding your true username means (IMO) there is something that you want to remain hidden.

you then say how great Stake is as a platform, But encourage others to quit stake because of underhanded dealings with cheats, scammers etc.

With having a background in legal services, I'd be very keen to see indisputable evidence of what you are alleging.

I'm not interested in any hearsay anecdotes or edited clips, screenprints etc.

I'm looking for irrefutable evidence that could be presented in court & stand up against cross-examination.

Just a bit of advice (not necessarily pertinent) to this post.

Before posting anything online, Be certain that you can 100% back up what you are posting.

I have seen many people lose their house, car(s) and jobs, for writing posts that cannot be proven (even though they were certain in their own minds that their posts were correct).

How can I be "hiding my real identity" on a purpose-built platform for anonymous, verification-free crypto gambling? Also, the use of alts is not against Stake ToC. Many players have them.

Stake is a fantastic platform and I have never discouraged anybody from using it. You reached that conclusion by yourself because I criticised the use of marketing via affiliation with fake-money streamers. For a guy who insists on being provided "irrefutable evidence that could be presented in court & stand up against cross-examination" in order to reach his conclusions, you've managed to jump to three conclusions right off the bat and we haven't even gotten to the part about the fake-money streaming.

There is plenty of evidence that this taking place. Streamers have been caught out on numerous occasions. Google it. Applying common sense to a decision tree goes a long way.

This guy does a far better job than I'm able to at explaining what is going on and why it isn't okay. The second contains numerous examples of streamers and casinos exposing themselves.

Edit: Also, Eddie has even said on stream that certain influencers are given money to stream with on the site. He has also explained that they are removed from the big races an hour before the end in the interest of fairness to regular customers. Again, use a little logic as to why they would have to do that from a regulatory perspective.

Again, I'm not saying that Stake=Bad. Stake is by far my favourite online casino. I want to see Stake succeed and it is my opinion that working with these influencers is bad for Stake's good name and long-term reputation.

I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you:

Both these videos are professionally & heavily edited to be one sided toward the video poster, to give credence to what are promotional videos for their own streams !!

What sort of proof is that ??

All alts are banned from chat unfortunately.

What is your desired outcome?

Ah, didn't know that. I wasn't asking for it to be reinstated, it just seemed a bit authoritarian.

My desired outcome I guess would be for Stake to reconsider its marketing policy in regard to streamers and promoting responsible gambling, or to at least encourage a discussion debating the merits of the current practices, but both seem unlikely.

My worry is that Stake will run into trouble with entering the UK market but I guess it's not really my problem.

I guess we'll leave it there :P

I've seen multiple streamers be up front about what they get from Stake if they get anything.

Some you their raw money which you can tell by their actions after losing or winning a bet or by how much they deposit once they start losing. Some you can tell it's fake money by their nonchalant reaction to winning.

I heard a stream come out right and say "Guys this is money that was given to me by Stake, if I win between 1k - 5k I get to keep the profit and if not I get nothing." Which seems fair if they're being straight truthful about it and reminding stream about it.

I think it's fine if Stake does this but only if the streamers are being truthful about it, not lying to viewers.

I am a big fan of all this streaming content. I think they did tell you dont do this and just watch them do it. The ultimate purpose is to get more members under them as they will earn affiliate commission

The bonus buy thingy help to quickly identify which slot are fun to play!

and being 18 years old above mean one have to pay the price for every decision one make

Simple~

Using heavily edited videos for lies and propaganda should ban your main account as well as your other ''alt'' ones. You don't care about Stake's well being but more likely you created this post to take your anger and jealousy to twitch streamers.Grow up.

For me I really love stake I never lose(a money that just disappeared without a valid reason/ and they won't refund it cause they have some kind of ***t reason) a money here in stake like if I have a big profit like $200-300 stake never tell me that I need to wait for an 1 hour or 2 so that I can receive my money and that's enough for me.

Sometimes streamers, especially those with a small audience, consider it their duty to slander the top streamer, thinking that this will add likes to them, subscribers, and in general they will immediately go to the top. And there are not a fact that the top streamer is not aware of these plans. ;) Therefore, all the proofs that you posted are just another throwing of shit on the fan.

Xposed has changed his disclaimer I guess since those videos were cut..he openly now admits that he has unlimited 20k faucets, 10k btc & 10k eth, until 2024 with his choice casino, and how it’s distributed if he wins big with it.  Still don’t like the guy, think his streams are a giant turd, but at least he’s making an effort to be honest.  Though I will say from the last One I saw he almost looks like he is really tired of gambling on his stream or just super bored of it.

Oh and also alts are banned because they a breach of terms of service in the fact that are used to abuse stake promos, bonus, rains, etc.. that’s why you were shut down without warning I’m sure.  I’m surprised they didn’t suspend your main account as well.

Can’t we all just gamble harmoniously? If there’s one obvious thing that players don’t like with stake? Is how poor customer support is. I mean, so poor it’s as if “ you fuc*in lost “ go away!!!!! Hahaha.

of course this is true it is a marketing strategy out of 100 viewers only 10 ask those questions. if you get 10% of the remaining viewers come to your casino to play you have what you want in the long run. These streamers are only some dudes who like attention and getting paid peanuts for it. They are used as instruments.

I don’t think any lf you realize that these streamers can be “upfront and honest” about their deals all they want, but some of them are flat out lying. Stevewilldoit was a prime example of that, tho he didnt play on stake. You dont know these people personally stop taking their words so easily. Idc what anyone says either, sponsored players win so fucking much more often and bigger than normal players do. And from a business perspective i can understand why stake lets that happen but dont even try to tell me its not true or theres no evidence lmao. The only way to really prove these people are using their own money and cashing out exactly what they say they are would be for them to show their bank statements but obviously thats never going to happen lol

From a marketing point of view, if the viewer suspects (been right or not) that the money is "fake balance" the strategy backfires, he loses interest. The viewer thinks: "If the casino is really good, why these people is playing with fake money?"

That is the best thing to do towards the viewers, because it is not the same to watch a stream were the streamer plays for nothing, than another were the streamer can earn something.

Better would be "if I win between 1k - 5k I'll give the profit to the viewers", that would give the stream the same purpose (win to earn something), and viewers will be hooked ("we all (streamer and viewers) can win from this, so keep watching"). Sending the balance to the viewers Stake account will make those people to join and try Stake with the money they got from the stream.

With some improvement in the marketing strategy I'm sure Stake can increase the amount of new players they get from the  streaming platforms.

I'm not trying to demean your relevant suggestions. But I have

 Just 2 points ::

1) most of these players don't play Stake original games. so stake have no input as to who wins, how often they win or how much they win.  You can find all these slots on most online casino's in some form or another.  There's no reason to give stake players any advantage.  It would actually be disastrous (financial & business wise) for slot owners to advantage or disadvantage any player or site.

2) Regarding posting of bank statements.  I was reluctant and disgusted that I had to show my bank statements to obtain a mortgage. I instructed to make sure my missus didn't see them. I can why no-one would want to provide these online.

I know you could anwser me that statements could be redacted etc.  If I don't trust the missus to see them.. I'm 100% sure that (even a redacted copy) would not be published online..

In my opinion, the truth is that all online slots gambling is skem, it's not just a problem with Stake. On the contrary, Stake stands out positively from other casinos, has many advantages, but to win something is really ... impossible. I had my last mega big win on March 2, 2021 .. and since then I can never hit $ 100. Skem? the system was set up like that.
Again, however, most often I play for free money, reaching winnings that I can withdraw already, but it is known that everyone wants to win a little more.
In general, I also don't like this fake Hype and I don't think it's necessary Stake at all.
To sum up the whole online gambling is skem and so much fake ... but among all these casinos, however, Stake has many advantages and is definitely the best place. If I have money and want to deposit to the casino, despite several possibilities, I would choose Stake, but I am aware that I will probably lose this money

Even though I always complain, I won a lot of interesting wins from free rain or free money, but such a long period without a good win (even playing for free money) causes such frustration that I can hardly hold back to throw my laptop and phone out the window to I will not be able to return because otherwise I will come back anyway
