Xylber Posted August 15, 2021 #1 Posted August 15, 2021 Hello guys, noticed a small mistake/omission in this article: https://intercom.help/stake-casino/en/articles/5086225-how-asian-handicap-totals-work 1) Half of the bet is considered a PUSH, not a VOID. Even when the result is the same (money back), a voided bet is a canceled/invalid bet, and a push is a tie/draw. Also, half of a bet can't be voided. If you plan to add promos related to these bets, it is important to have the correct wording. In the other hand, this other article is well explained: https://intercom.help/stake-casino/en/articles/4828278-voided-bets it addresses correctly that a voided bet became a 1x when it is included in a multibet (same a any other casino out there). 2) And the "you only receive 50% of your winnings" has a little omission: you receive 100% of your bet back and 50% of the winning (thus, "half win). And in "half-lose" you receive 50% of your bet back and 0% of the winning. Keep it up! PD: I'm posting here because the person in the support said I was mistaken (?) If you need his name send me a PM, but I guess he is not important.
Sportsbook Support Dusan Posted August 15, 2021 Sportsbook Support #2 Posted August 15, 2021 1. Push and void are the same thing, both get your bet on 1x. Voided bet is not a canceled bet, canceled bet is something else. We will not be adding promotions on Quarter Handicaps or Totals. 2. Yes, that is the simplified version because it's an easier way for a user to calculate it. If he bets 100$ on 2 odds and he gets a half win his odds will be 1.5 and his payout is 150$. Same for the half lose. User is only getting 50% of his bet amount, if he places a 100$ bet on 2x odds and gets half lose he will get 50$ back. It's just quicker and faster method to calculate it. Since it's the same thing I will add both, It will say void/push. I hope that will help you PD: Say hi to Carrol.
