Interestingly enough, for a very short period of time when Stake 1.0 migrated to Stake 2.0, the highest multiplier you could hit on Plinko was x5,000. 

That caused quite a riot back then as I remember many players trying and being able to hit it upon its release. Eventually, that was removed due to reasons unannounced and Plinko reverted to its current form that you see right now.

My theory is that even though the x5000 paytable had its RTP machine-tested through millions of rolls, the insanely high variance allowed an individual to profit way too much, too fast, inadvertently tilting the scales in the player's favour - much to Stake's demise. 🤩

Idk if I recall I think Eddie was saying the opposite, that too many players were complaining that they were losing too much trying to hit it. Cause the middle payout slots on the 5000x setting were like 0.1 so players were losing there valances very fast
