Requirement Confusion

I had placed a bet for a promotion with the requirements below. Being located in Canada i place my bets in CAD. I placed a 5$ CAD bet which won and should have qualified for the promotion based off the requirements below. I am now being told the 5$ should have been USD and i do not qualify. Can anyone confirm this decision?

For example, if a challenge has a minimum bet rule of $1 or any other value, I recommend that you use an online cryptocurrency converter before placing your bet so you will know the correct amount to place on your bet. For example: You have 0.001 Bitcoin and need to bet $1, use the online cryptocurrency converter and you will know how many satoshis you need to ingest to get the $1 value. The stake already has this function on the site, when you put the value in cryptocurrency, the dollar amount will appear below the cryptocurrency value on the stake's website.

Since 5 CAD equals to 3.9 USD, there's a slim chance you will be qualified.

I get that, in all other promotions it specifies USD
