I personally set it to low bet values, but have high multipliers. I find that more exciting then trying to hit above a certain number continuously. 

Such as, minimum bet with multiplier of 1000x or 10000x and leave it running.

look for low multis like 10x and increase the bet that's all

Unless you have a large balance, then set it for a penny or less with a high multiplier. Like 100,000 or higher.

I like to hunt for multiple medium multipliers in a row with increasing bet on wins. Successful one looks like this.
