Amendment to the chat rules

I know some of it is trolling, some of it is serious, but all of it is annoying; especially considering we already have a chat that is now over populated, slow, and spam ridden, and mods who are already being over worked with the task of keeping this horde of unruly degens under control. 

 

what is it i'm referring to? one of the most irritating chat spams there is... "when's monthly?" 

 

I move that any type of asking about the monthly be made a mute-able offense prior to the 15th of the month, or before the 1st of the month after a monthly has been given already. I'm not wording it well, but essentially my suggestion is that this is spam- it's pointless for people to ask, so unless we're actually over the mid month median people shouldn't be flooding the chat with questions about when it will be. After the 15th, if there's been no monthly nor an announcement of one, fine, but to be asking before the month has even started, or how it is now, now, close to the first even than the 15th, i want them silenced. all of them. and i want them to know why they were silenced. 

 

Because my head hurts, and it's irritating as all hell. 

 

Please consider my recommendation, and end the unnecessary spam.
