alexlee Posted January 28, 2022 #1 Posted January 28, 2022 Basically - I have been betting heavy on csgo today and I cashout everytime i feel like my team will lose to a forcebuy and i go bet on the opponent team. I placed $250 (all money i had) on complexity vs big (at 10-11 scoreline), big won 10-12 so i clicked cashout and guess what? Stake disabled it completely in my account without my knowledge. This is all my past cashouts. https://gyazo.com/1f069bd1d821445c7989a48baf3258f7 This is freaking ridiculous and I bet they wont even give me a refund for it. Honestly such a shitty thing to do. https://gyazo.com/a791d08e9d1553880d6f785e36c0b9ec -> bets on complexity game were open. YET I was UNable to cashout https://gyazo.com/4497ec445e52ea5c42f393d88f51d280 -> Messaging stake support with proof https://gyazo.com/10603ea58139f9154a022157c88bfb18 -> Update when 11-14 scoreline (bets on complexity game were open. YET I was UNable to cashout) I'm so fucking sad because i needed this money to pay for my uni fees https://gyazo.com/d5437eeeb480ddeea221a0d2cf0f0587 Can somebody explain to me what really happened? This is so shady to me https://gyazo.com/04ea683f5bd4c83bb14c91b2368dc6dc This mod straight up ignored me
imantsk1 Posted January 28, 2022 #2 Posted January 28, 2022 Sorry dear colleague, this is done of course by Sports Book markets, or because you have been abusing cashout option very often in the way of making vager very common thing. Do not think some one will be on your side really after ... It is your gamble and your bet. I feel like nothing ever pays out of playing Scrable or dum Blue Samurai never its so random..
alexlee Posted January 28, 2022 Author #3 Posted January 28, 2022 So basically, you're not allowed to win here on sportsbook even if you stick to a certain tactic? This is sketchy as fk from stake. I really didn't expect this. They pretty much want you to lose 100% of the time, if you win then you get blocked. What a joke Stake has slow / laggy sports provider? Oh yes, just blame the customer because they're actually making some profit
AleksandarZ Posted January 28, 2022 #4 Posted January 28, 2022 Hi there My advice is to do what our sportsbook manager Darko told you, contact our integrity team from the email connected to your account at [email protected] I'm sure they will explain to you everything you need to know Here you can read our cashout policy: Cashout is a feature that offers the customer the opportunity to take a return on a bet placed before the bet has reached its conclusion. Cashout is available on selected events and markets both Pre-Match and Live for Singles and Multi bets. If you choose to cashout (if available) you simply need to click on the Cashout button next to your bet in the 'My Bets' section of the site. The Cashout amount will then be credited to your account. Please note that the final result will then have no impact on the outcome of your bet ashout may not be available on certain markets and events. A time delay is applied on every Cashout. Cashout will not be available if the event and/or market you have placed a bet on is suspended. A Cashout attempt may not be successful if a market or event is suspended or odds change at the point in which the time delay is applied after Cashout is attempted. Where Cashout is available on a Pre-Match event, if we do not cover the event Live then Cashout will be unavailable once the event starts. Your Cashout value will differ depending on how your selection is performing and may be higher or lower than your original stake, allowing you to guarantee a profit or minimise a loss. Stake reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a cashout on any bet that has been settled in error. Stake will not be responsible in the event that Cashout is unavailable due to technical issues. Any bets will be settled as normal based on the final result. Stake reserves the right to remove the Cashout feature for any customer who misuses it by regularly taking advantage of Pre-Match price movements to close their bets before events have started. Stake reserves the right to remove the cashout feature for any customer who misuses it by taking advantage of latency to guarantee profit when placing bets then immediately cashing out.
skleven Posted January 28, 2022 #5 Posted January 28, 2022 I never place a single bet on sports. But what i have learned after reading many posts about the sportsbook, is that things are not what they seem to be. Stake is giving players the option to do someting, for then to pull a fast one and take their money. It seems to be so bad, that you will loose all your money if you win on a lucky bet. If a casino or sportsbook have an option to do something, it should be allowed to do it. If not, it should be removed. Anything else is just a sign of a badly designed website OR criminal behaviour.

alexlee Posted January 29, 2022 Author #8 Posted January 29, 2022 Just spoke with Stake support. Please take your money elsewhere. They PURPOSEFULLY blocked my cashout which caused me to lose $250 (everything I had) and I'm not even going to get a refund for that since I broke one of stakes terms "Stake reserves the right to remove the cashout feature for any customer who misuses it by taking advantage of latency to guarantee profit when placing bets then immediately cashing out." BUT i didnt even make damn profit, infact I went from $500 to $250 because of cashing out and placing bets on opposite team every round. Eventually they blocked my cashout I'M SO pissed about this whole situation, they have straight up scammed me and stolen my last deposit. I wonder how many other customers they have pulled this shit on?
Deep88in Posted January 29, 2022 #9 Posted January 29, 2022 Hedging is not allowed in any sports book, may be it's not hedging but it's one of a kind. Sry for your loss, but you should not have played with your university money. Have a grt future ahead. 👍

If you find an edge somewhere, enjoy it while it lasts because there's no such thing as a player edge that lasts forever. That's how gambling works.

bjkkartal Posted January 29, 2022 #12 Posted January 29, 2022 so they basically saying, if you made too much profit from it, you can't use it anymore.

It could happen either because the match is ending, the odds are too close to 100%, or you are cashing out a lot of bets in a short period of time. They can also disable the whole feature for ever if you "magically" cashout before a major event happening, as the player may be live in the stadium while the website receive the info delayed, so it can be exploited.
