Scammed by Stake. No, really.

Basically - I have been betting heavy on csgo today and I cashout everytime i feel like my team will lose to a forcebuy and i go bet on the opponent team.

I placed $250 (all money i had) on complexity vs big (at 10-11 scoreline), big won 10-12 so i clicked cashout and guess what? Stake disabled it completely in my account without my knowledge.  This is all my past cashouts.  https://gyazo.com/1f069bd1d821445c7989a48baf3258f7 

This is freaking ridiculous and I bet they wont even give me a refund for it. Honestly such a shitty thing to do.

Sorry dear colleague, this is done of course by Sports Book markets, or because you have been abusing cashout option very often in the way of making vager very common thing. Do not think some one will be on your side really after ... It is your gamble and your bet. I feel like nothing ever pays out of playing Scrable or dum Blue Samurai never its so random..

This is sketchy as fk from stake. I really didn't expect this. They pretty much want you to lose 100% of the time, if you win then you get blocked. What a joke 

Stake has slow / laggy sports provider? Oh yes, just blame the customer because they're actually making some profit

I never place a single bet on sports. But what i have learned after reading many posts about the sportsbook, is that things are not what they seem to be.

Stake is giving players the option to do someting, for then to pull a fast one and take their money. 

It seems to be so bad, that you will loose all your money if you win on a lucky bet. 

 

If a casino or sportsbook have an option to do something, it should be allowed to do it. If not, it should be removed. Anything else is just a sign of a badly designed website OR criminal behaviour.

Never gamble with money you can not afford to lose. Gambling is entertainment and not a way to make money.

They PURPOSEFULLY blocked my cashout which caused me to lose $250 (everything I had) and I'm not even going to get a refund for that since I broke one of stakes terms

BUT i didnt even make damn profit, infact I went from $500 to $250 because of cashing out and placing bets on opposite team every round. Eventually they blocked my cashout

Hedging is not allowed in any sports book, may be it's not hedging but it's one of a kind. Sry for your loss, but you should not have played with your university money. Have a grt future ahead. 👍

Yeah it's a sportsbook.  Their goal is to make money.   If you find an edge somewhere, enjoy it while it lasts because there's no such thing as a player edge that lasts forever.  That's how gambling works.

I had my cashout taken also 3 months ago for betting dnb bets to have better odds.. well can understand their decision..dont be that naive bro just watching the history of your bets it's totally understand able what you did

This is common in any casino, I used to bet on the Premier on Bet365 and Bwin (no crypto-casinos) and they also disable the cashouts. It could happen either because the match is ending, the odds are too close to 100%, or you are cashing out a lot of bets in a short period of time. They can also disable the whole feature for ever if you "magically" cashout before a major event happening, as the player may be live in the stadium while the website receive the info delayed, so it can be exploited.
