Mandatory Level 2 KYC .. Deal or No Deal ?

Talk of the town today  the big announcements of sir @Edward on his stream last Saturday regarding the rain requirements on stake chat . 

The hearsay been confirmed earlier when stake posted the matter on telegram.  

What can you say ? Deal or no Deal ?

i think it should have been done before, so many people trying to abuse rewards by Stake.This will prevent people using multi accounts for sure

According to a moderator in Turkish chat, wager req is not a thing anymore, all you gotta have is KYC, well that totally changes everything, there should be both wager req and KYC req in my opinion!

Smart move of Stake to avoid bots & alts. But still many people didn't want KYC verification because they're afraid to send their information? I don't think so, we're trusting them our money but not our personal information? I think there's a law to that like Data Privacy Act.

Being a Platinum 6 player with only level 1 verification completed, I will say this. Rain has its pros and cons, like most things. Ultimately, I believe that if someone sees the new requirements as a reason to quit playing here, they aren't playing here for the right reasons.

I get there's rain farmers and bots But Forcing people to verify to recieve rain is BS.

People.like me don't want to mainly over safety concerns (you can't change my mind)
I have Rained and Tipped more than most people in English chat and now what I dont deserve the chance to get rain back? Its Total BS.

What SHOULD have been the goto answer is Upping wager requirements to say 6k. And the Mods actually Muting beggars for longer than 2-24 hours to say 3 days minimum OR have to have rained say $10-20 that week. 

If they dont revert this they Will 100% start losing loyal players

Personally i think u should be verified no matter what. I really don't feel comfortable knowing kids can come in chat and play on the website.

Make it 10k a week, shouldnt be able to sit in chat and farm rain just to wager on 1.01 dice to sit in chat and farm rain to wager on 1.01dice day in and day out. Casino wins nothing from those people. At least allowing everyone who wagers 10k a week to be able to get rains, nets the casino a minimum of $100 in ev per person. Level 2 does nothing to help the casino, except removes a few hundred people they would have to mute, while sacrificing $200k plus in ev from the accounts that would have wagered if they were to be eligible. I think after a few weeks of seeing weekly overal wagers drop significantly, they are going to either reverse the level2, or add that 10k wager makes you eligible as well as level2.

also maybe wager 2-4k has some kind of poopy rain system like other places where u click to join it.. except it's only for stake rainbot and staff specific rains? 

 

I 100% think there should be no wager for verified though...

lvl 2 is ok .... but rain with no wager is not good eddie make it with wager reg bec that multi acc and spamm on chat so why wager reg remove not good over all ,)

Rain is just an excuse to get more people to lvl 2 verify. If they were interested in cutting down on the bots and alts, they'd increase the wager requirement.  I've watched one account rain farm it's way all the way to gold, catching $50 rains, and there has never been a real person behind that account. When I brought it up to a CM, I was told not to report it again. So, their real motive is obvious, but the decision is still frustrating to me.

If you people thinks that they care about rains, imho you're starting with wrong approach.

Stake is not anymore a "family based" casino, it's an empire nowadays... More money, more exposure means also

that they are under some "big leans" from regulator.

my opinion if ur that angry about rain change is most likely because you cannot verify yourself (assuming most likely because you're playing from a restricted country.).

It literally takes 30 sec to kyc if you're legit...  Furthermore, you can still play and chat without kyc lvl 2 (for now. And many casino won't even allow you to do that)..

And for whoever that try to make a point "crypto were anonymous"... welp crypto are still anonymous, casinos are not.

Level 2 verification cuts down on uhhh maybe 25% of the alts& bots rofllll. The rest of them are easily verified 😆🤣🤦🤦 

People are smart enough to run the bots but you think those same people can't figure out a way to easily verify the same bots? Yeah, okay. 😆😆😆

Its just another step to mandatory KYC here on stake while hiding behind "we are doing this for you" no they dont. They do it for themselfs.

Isn't it funny that they were able to change the requirement for rain to ≥$4.000 and Verification Level ≥2 within days but they weren't able to implement same code for weekend stream's drop code claims? Code is pretty much similar. But's it been over 2 months. That's really funny. 😂

Should always be some Wager req I think otherwise people will only join stream and chat to catch free dollars and never ever deposit... These players are worth nothing to the site really.
