xtinepink Posted January 30, 2018 #1 Posted January 30, 2018 The popularity of cryptocurrency is never ending topic. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is widely used for like any kind of payments and also as an investment ofc. We already heard bitcoin is used to pay for food, products, plane ticket purchases. Now university joins in to this. There are various forms of payment when it comes to paying college tuition fees but never before a higher education engage into the digital currency industry. Bitcoin, the most popular digital currency, is now being readily accepted by some other known universities. How cool is that now? It’s another miles stone for cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Bitcoin is indeed giving us more creative method or ways to use our digital assets like bitcoin. I wouldn’t be surprised what else or should I say where else can bitcoin take us. For my Filipino friends and other countries, do you think that even our government contributions will accept bitcoin such as philhealth, sss etc? What are your thoughts about this?

The more 'mainstream' organisations that start accepting bitcoin, the more popularity the coin gets and people trust it even more. So this great news I think. I guess the staff in these places will have to have special training, I can't imagine the admission office / finance office of most universities have many staff that know how to operate a bitcoin wallet etc. Sounds like it'll probably be a fun staff training day. I know right, it’s really cool since maybe most there students know probably about bitcoin too, as for tha staffs, yes they should be train well for this kind of transactions. I think will be probably same process same goes for those physical stores that accepts btc, but not quite sure for the finance section to keep track of the transactions in one place. 11 hours ago, Ymerej said: This is a good news .. for me if philippines will regulate bitcoins or cryptos it will take alot of time maybe year to implement this coz for me philippines is way to late from other countries.
