I wasn't paid for a slot bet and have proof. Stakes response was...

Let me preface this and say I dont think stake pulled some shady buisness to scam me or anything, and this also has nothing to do with provably fair, so rigtards can't use this as fodder.  I've also waited three weeks to post this to see if I'd get a better response but... lol.... come on now.   Would also like to say if you look at my history im always quick to defend stake and their buisness, because 99.9% of the time the most resonable and practical logic is correct. So here we go.

I only had about 5 bucks left in my account and time to kill so I was playing some 0.10 Tome of madness spins.... I was all the way down to a dollar when I hit a 44x which should've paid 4.40 .. I spun the game 3 more times at 0.10 each and noticed my balance was exactly what it should have been, but missing that 4.40 payout.  I only had 0.79 cents in my account.   So I exited the game and stayed calm... I did many troubleshooting steps (unlike many that rush to forum without even a refresh).. I waited a bit, checked recent transactions... refreshed some more... took a video WHILE refreshing for proof yet balance still showed 0.79 about 10 minutes later so ok maybe just a bug and that bet didn't payout, no problem let's talk to support.. (I have all chat logs saved too, I can post if anyone wants to see but 80% of it is me trying to explain to support that 4.40 - 0.30 does not equal 0.79. In fact my balance shouldn't be any less that 4.10, and that's if the I didn't have any money left after spinning the 44x but I did have some left.  Unfortunatly Yes, I had to explain that a lot....

Support guy 1 in a nutshell..   my bet didn't payout sir my balance is mathamatically impossible. The bet ID is there and says 44x, but it didn't pay me

Support guy.  Yes it did u have the betid.

I know I have betid... but It never paid me...(this went back and forth for much longer than it should have)  u don't get it.. can I be bumped to someone higher?

Support 2:  explain situation again.  He seems like he understands problem. Comes back and says he credited my account with it. (They actually only put 0.50 in my vault so... no stake ya lied again.... ya didn't credit me.... ya sent me a slap in face and a kick in the groin but didnt realize til later because i didnt care about the money...I was playing with dust....  i cared that a bet didnt payout and that shit shouldnt happen no matter the bet size and stake should be aware of it)    I say cool, and then say "so you see the bet didn't pay out right?"

Support guy: no.  The bet paid out, we just credited you because ur a good customer...

My head lights on fire because this is pretty obvious shit here.  Explain how math doesn't work again.  And Support resorts to hail Mary's.

Oh u must have a vpn visual discrepancy so u just see things wrong... (that may be confusing enough for the low iqs, but any "vpn visual discrepency" with a  balance is easily fixable 99.9 % of the time with a simple refresh.  It also didn't help that Support told me what my balance was on their server side and it matched exactly what I showed on my client side.  No discrepency.  Nice try but Myth busted..

From here, I got up the head of support who now joined my chat... and I was very polite this whole time albeit repeating myself a lot, but no vulgarity or anything. The top dawg official response is "we did calculations.  Balance is correct"

So I asked very simple questions like what my balance was before and after the betid that didn't pay and 2 before and 2 after it.  A very simple way to see if the bet was paid... if my account had over 4.40 In it after that betid... and something unknown happened after that, at least I'd know the bet paid.  Unfortuantly af this point any question i asked was unanswered even though the answers to those questions would have easily shown what had truly happened.  But should I really know what happened?  Nope...I get this:

"Balance is correct.  We did calculations"

"OK, can I see these calcutions? because on my side I see very simple math that doesn't add up.  Please tell me how I won 4.40, placed 0.30 in bets and have much less than 4.10 in my account.  Would they answer a question with simple math? Lol come on....

"We did calculations.. TRUST US your balance is correct"

And that's it... have proof ur balance is wrong? Well stake has super secret math no one knows about that makes it correct. Should u know why money is missing from your account when using Real math.  No.  You must trust stakes secret math they won't explain that the money missing is not missing.  Will they disprove your simple math that doesn't work? No.  They ignore the question.

Some of you are thinking, "ur complaining about 4.40?" But no I'm not.  I consider this a very very cheap way of seeing a bigger issue.  If my balance wasnt so close to zero already, and in the hundreds and I hit a 44x and kept playing, I prob wouldn't even have noticed the balance was off.  But since I was low and then still low after the hit, it stuck out.

So yea there's my story.   I've gone from wagering some months well over 400k (not big by any means but also not tiny.. got top players a few times) to the past 2 weeks I didn't even wager enough to claim bonuses on Eddie's stream for first time ever.   In fact.  I didn't even break 1000 in wagering since this incident.   I've legit lost all trust in them, and I didn't want to quit gambling or anything, but when u don't trust the house to be honest... fuck... its really hard to place a bet.... and I just can't.

Sure it only 4.40.... but the saying goes, "the cover up is always worse than the crime" and why are they convering it up so badly?   Does this happen more than we know? And just goes unnoticed becuase we don't pay enough attention to our balances? And trust that stake are actually adding wins to our accounts correctly? Normally I'd call these kinds of issues conspiracy theories from people who lost too much.  But now, I'm not really sure anymore... why wouldn't they answer any questions about my balance?  Why cover up a small 4.40 bet that clearly just didn't pay out?  This is why i can't trust them anymore.   If they said "sorry bro.. ur absolutely right, must have had a bug, and for some reason that bet didn't pay... sorry man well look into why.  Thanks for reporting it". it would've been case closed end of story and a nice clear chain of events.

My theory on what happened?  There was a bug and that bet didn't pay.  They didn't try to scam me or anything. Why would they scam $4.40?   The math worked perfectly with my balance apart from there was just 1 payout of 4.40 missing from it.  If I added 4.40 to the 0.79 cents, my balance would've been perfect.  And what is usually the most logical outcome to a problem?  The simple logical answer?  Or the one with vpn visual discrepencies and secret calculations that arent shared?   Sorry stake... I really will miss u guys, but can't play here anymore because you not only tried to cover something up.... but... you tried and it was sooo very bad of a try.... like my 5 year old nephew makes up better stories..  but if anyone could do the math on how u could win 4.40 and place 3 0.10 bets, and end up with 0.79 like stake can.... id love to hear how u made that math work.

Sorry I know it's already super long, so im not proofreading, but some people will say "u prob tipped someone or made a sports bet or some other nonsense"  ok... but then support would have just said that to me... not make crazy excuses.  Pic of bets in questions with balance at top... and if u want a video of transactions page with refreshing or the support log, I'll post it for you.

Yes, post this please, for posterity.

Some weak apologies and Tristan saving the day 3 weeks later isn't an excuse to turn this into a feel good story.

I wanted to make it clear that I wasn't saying games are rigged or the provably fair system doesn't work.  I know provably fair works, and it is fair.  But now with Yggrassil, I cannot say with certainty that provider games aren't rigged.  But save that for a different topic.

Well, I was actually surprised this topic was up as it got removed a minute or 2 after posted and I got the msg from Tristan. So I was surprised when I had notifications on it and I guess it was put back up.  Not sure why it was taken down in the first place.

But Tristan's first explanation was a swing and a miss, well maybe more of a foul ball, but after I replied why it couldn't be that, the info in my reply did guide him to what actually happened and I do beleive him.   The way the whole situation was handled though....  yea.... im not going to post all the convos now though due to a non disclosure agreement and huge payout i got but....    I'm kidding haha.  There is no non disclosure...  the support was bad. Real bad.

Idk where the most blame lies because I'm not privy to exactly who can see what, but I know money went missing from my account and Support kept telling me "we did calculations.  No missing money"   And I will admit I was wrong, the bet I had in question DID pay out, BUT money WAS taken out of my account 6 seconds after I made that bet. Probably before I even made another bet, by none other than Pragmatic.  An amount that was eerily similar to the amount of the win.  Within 20 cents in fact.

If you're playing 1 game only, and just won 44x, 2 bets later you look at balance and youre missing 44x...  I think it's fair to think u didn't get paid the 44x.  Not that Pragmatic is changing the results of live games that took place over an hour and half later with zero notice, warning, or shame.  With no way to verify what they changed is actually correct, and no clip posted to confirm it and notify players of the change.  And why can't support see that money 100% did leave my account?

So while most people would think an hour and half after you placed a bet in a live game, like boom city, that bet would be settled, done, in the books. If anything sketchy happened, game would have shut down and got sorted out.   No payments until issue is solved. And I think most people would agree that if the dice are tumbling, the wheel is spinning, or the cards are being dealt, it signifys the previous bet was fair, valid, and paid out correctly.  Basically like how you can't challenge a play in the NFL once the next play has started.  But I guess Pragmatic doesn't see it that way.

How many stories are out there of people getting screwed out of crazy time wins, even with video proof they never got paid and provider claims "malfunction" or other bullshit.  I'd be curious if anyone who got screwed out of being paid on boom city this day had bet adjustments made on their accounts ADDING funds over an hour and half later.  I really wouldn't be surprised if the money only moved out.

But how can they even can touch funds in my account that long after a bet was placed? Like, if I won $500 today, could they reverse that bet 4 hours from the win? What about after 7 days? What if I didn't have the money in my account?  Would it have been taken the next time I deposited?  I thought i deposited at Stake.com.. why can Pragmatic just reach in and take money out of my stake account while im not playing a pragmatic game?

Idk.. whole situation put a bad taste in my mouth, and really opened my eyes to how providers have way to much power and dont really need to post any official documents about how their games work to be picked up by a casino, let alone become licensed.  But I know im not playing anything where I can't verify the outcome wasn't manipulated after I placed the bet, including live games and all 3rd party slots. I want to believe they're fair, but we honestly dont know.

This industry is growing way too fast with very little regulation.  And that's a recipe for fraud.  And I bet in a few years, if not months, there will be quite a few more providers we all know that end up like Yggrasil, silently blacklisted because they fucked up and got caught being sketchy and couldn't cover it up fast enough. I'm surprised Eddie even mentioned it's fraud related they got removed. I'm sure that brought a flood of people wanting money back who played those games.  But why is a provider getting caught defrauding not a bigger story?  No one seems to care and it's being swept under the rug quietly by the online gaming community.  They'll keep all their fraudulent money, with zero punishment and zero threat of jail time.. I wouldn't be surprised if some provider's buisness plan is to steal as much as possible before getting caught and then live out life on a beach somewhere.

Anyway, another long post.  But sometimes small things shed light on much bigger issues.   And instead of uploading boring documents and chat messages that maybe 5 of you guys will actually go through, I'm putting together a lil highlight reel with with the most aggretious claims highlighted with some humor.  I think that will catch more eyes than just posting a shitton of support messages here (mostly of me repeating myself and them telling me I'm wrong).  If you still want them after that tho I'll post.

i will not go into any lengthy story at this point due to the fact that it wont make a difference either way... But what happened to op has happened 4 times to me but for much larger a sum. In the end I was treated exactly how is described in this post. once I was asked to send screen shots, i did. then to send screen video recording because I specifically was recording once i noticed it happenin, I did. After i provided all that was asked of me i was told to go into the slot and copy the bet IDs which the whole session was magically not there within the game history which was plain to see for support and after hours communicating and sending all the info asked I was told that the game provider said that they had no issues on their end. another time on plinko i hit a 180x bet and it didnt pay , I was told by support it was a visual glitch. once on slide I bet $75 on 3 seperate tickets for the same slide instance. I bet 15x , 17x, and 19x, and it hit 20x yet only paid for 1 win costing me over $2000. again nothing done to remedy and pay me. people can say whatever they want about me due to all my negative posts and comments in this forum and that is fine. personally i believe most the bad responses i get are from stake shills. Ive said it before Im not a sore loser, I understand the likelyhood of losing when you gamble, but an unfair game is a disgrace to gambling as a whole and without a doubt the gaurantee which the house edge gives the establishment of always coming out ahead is simply not enough for the owners of Stake , they want it all and will stop at nothing to ensure that you will never ever win.
