wilbur Posted February 24, 2018 #1 Posted February 24, 2018 Is bitcoin an asset or a currency ? lately ive been thinking what is bitcoin actually i mean how do you classify bitcoin in general, what do you think?
hux Posted February 24, 2018 #2 Posted February 24, 2018 bitcoin is a currency in my opinion, people always say like "bitcoins not a currency because you cant buy anything with it" but the definition of currency is a system of money in general use in a particular country, the fact or quality of being generally accepted or in use. bitcoin is largely in use and lots of people do accept it you just have to realise the places to go to to be able to spend it and it is in use in particular countries (more than one) which makes it a currency, sorry i dragged this on a lot and my opinions may be retarded but this is just my opinion
