exactly.  I've never used whatsapp but all I know about it is that it is widely used by scammers.  that is literally the only thing I've heard about it.  I bet 90%+ people on here have never used whatsapp

Actually the first 2 streams drake said he will call via facetime.

But thats then actually for apple users I guess.

Switching to whatsapp is also kinda strange since not everybody uses that, especially in Asia. I dont use whatsapp as well. Guess thats why I never get chosen, and because I am European. SMH.

The case is clear as crystal here.

Winning individuals were told to wait for a phone call. The phone call was then made via WhatsApp, not a direct call.

Users were not advised that the call would be transmitted via a third party app. Many people do not have WhatsApp.

Admit to the mistake and pay the man. What happened to the principles of "fairness and transparency" that Stake was supposedly built on?

I was actually wondering about this during stream like how are they calling the winners but i also assumed it was thru the number that we gave them through email. Never knew its suppose to be on whatsapp. Damn.

You are right, there are no excuses. Whatsapp is a messaging app. You make calls by calling the telephone number to the ones you need to reach. 

Whatsapp users are based in India, Brazil, Russia and some in North America. The rest of the world.. not so much.
