GoatMop Posted November 18, 2022 #1 Posted November 18, 2022 The Obsidian II account aabb123123 was doing ridiculous high roller bets around christmas time last year, betting 500k+ at a time on stake originals. The whole community was curious to who it could be. With the recent FTX scandal I think aabb is likely to be Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX. I have seen a few articles about how he gambled dumb amounts of ethereum and USDT. I also remember eddie saying onstream that the person behind aabb123123 was well known in the crypto community. what do you guys think?
SweetL0u Posted November 18, 2022 #2 Posted November 18, 2022 Makes so much sense. I think you are right!
ByteMeTwice Posted November 20, 2022 #4 Posted November 20, 2022 Literally breaking the bank..... so to speak !
GotSeven Posted November 20, 2022 #5 Posted November 20, 2022 “Talking about the online casinos SBF was playing at, it was mostly Stake, … Casino, and …casino. The total rumored sum of the businessman's loss is over $100 million in Ethereum and USDT. It is also important to mention that a limited number of Bahamas executives accessed Alameda and FTX wallets.”
dimspirit Posted November 24, 2022 #10 Posted November 24, 2022 I doubt it, but would make an interesting story lol
crisulu Posted November 24, 2022 #11 Posted November 24, 2022 That makes sense but it's just a hypothesis.
