How does RTP work?

So guys I'm sure this question has been asked before but I've yet to see it on the forum. I would like to open up a short sharing of ideas on how RTP works on slots. I've received varying information which I will highlight below and hopefully have a clearer idea.

The following options is what I've been told

1- RTP is individual and based on how much you personally put into a slot. Meaning, the slot can only pay out as much money as you have invested INDIVIDUALLY. And on the lucky chance it pays out more, it will go dry until... well, you go dry.

2- RTP is global and based on how much each player puts into the slot. Meaning, the slot can only pay out as much as EVERYONE has put in. And this is generally more luck based as it means whoever gets that lucky spins gets the spoils.

3- RTP is not real and slots are not designed to work based on RTP. RTP is based on ODDs and whatever you wager does not matter. You could hit max win on first spin or never hit it.

Another thing, is RTP shared across ALL slots or just one specific slot? Cos I feel like sometimes if I lose in one slot, I go somewhere else and hit. BUT only just below the amount I lost in the other slot.

I feel like my experience is more option 1. I only ever hit as much as I put in, hardly ever more than that. Which makes the whole concept kind of .... mundane.

What do you guys think and what's your experience?

its doesnt , untill you get sponsored, and they hook you up with some promotional spin settings.

max win everyday.  get your sponsorship at stake.com and you will be amazed what rtp can do.

It is all down to a set of mathematical probabilities called a PAR sheet. From that setup you run in between 200Mil - 2Bil spins several times over while doing adjustments to meet the required.

If the result match the desired then it will be locked in place.

When the providers wish too, they can modify the parsheet and that often happens by nerfing the bonus output. You clearly see that in effect in almost every game as it is, with so many 0-5x yields a "Bonus".

It is all just one number "mapped" into some overlay presenting you something Graphically!

Are these numbers shared between everyone or is it an individual "seed"?

All this about "seed" is kinda misunderstood by most people!

The seed is a number that are needed for the "Randomizer" as an input for the algorithm running the Randomizer. This seed needs to be secure, so must often it will be comprised by many different readings, like weather data, decay or half life and time etc. This to keep the algorithm secure hence not possible to reverse engineer/ to be figured out.

Stake make use of a Client seed, a number comprised from mouse cursor position and time etc. which is then mapped to their server seed to be used for their randomizer.

Every seed can hit the same numbers it all depends on timing. The CPU will spit out thousands of numbers a second so it is all down to luck.

We all have the same chance of hitting or not hitting, it is all the same and there are no garanties for hitting anything unless you are going to spin billions.

You probably would have a different seed than someone else but again this wouldn't matter much because you are not following a linear rout but fractions of one due to the speed of the numbers being processed!.

hope that helps.

@dimspirit this is the answers i have been searching for years. The providers, the actual online casinos and the streamers keep it all very secret. But one day an employee will retire and not give a fuck and drop the bomb

I'm surprised nothing has been dropped yet. I have been told before that it's individual and it's based on what you bet individually
