Yeah it happens, most I saw was 110k no 1000x. Awful feeling though, unless you were catching lots of 130x which I doubt.

In Limbo, hitting a 2x multiplier would be 1 in every 2 tries theoretically or it has a 50% chance (minus the house edge percentage) but there are instances that you can get up to 25 lose streaks (based on my experience) on a 2x multiplier.

 

In Plinko, hitting a x1000 has a 0.0015% chance but since there are two x1000, each at boths sides, the chance to hit x1000 theoretically would be 1 in in every 33,333.33 plinko balls drop.

 

But the same could happen with what I've said in Limbo, you can hit 1 x1000 after 1,000,000 balls dropped or you can hit 2 x1000 within 33,333.33 balls dropped you can never tell so the instance of hitting x1000 in Plinko would be very unpredictable.

 Yeah so Im in this range plus minus I had only one 1kx ball and it was at 2400~~ first balls dropped
