dawka11000 Posted February 16, 2023 #1 Posted February 16, 2023 Today i recived email offer from driffrent casino on Email I only used for stake, i wonder if someone have bought the emails from hacker that hacked stake email service while ago. The email i got its real not scam, they offered 110$
girliegirl Posted February 16, 2023 #2 Posted February 16, 2023 yes a lot of people got it and it clearly is from a stake leak. Those people know emails and deposit amounts on stake. For the rest you can claim it.
TzTokTikTok Posted February 16, 2023 #3 Posted February 16, 2023 I got one and so did my friend (Plat 1 and Plat 2) but my other Bronze friend didn't get the email. Interestingly, I got a $10 coupon (Plat 1) and my friend (Plat 2) got a $40 one. It seems that our email address and VIP statuses were sold. This is 100% a result of the data breach, which Stake had the audacity not to properly disclose to players or apologize for. The way that Stake handled the data breach undoubtedly broke data protection laws in many of the countries in which Stake operates. Moreover, it showed a complete lack of respect by Stake to it's customers.
Snickers Posted February 16, 2023 #4 Posted February 16, 2023 My coupon was 100 and I am plat 4. Friend also had 10 being plat 1. Haha. So much for "they just stole the emails".
Zamia2001 Posted February 16, 2023 #5 Posted February 16, 2023 lemme check my email too wish there is bigger amount 😆
Rekan329 Posted February 16, 2023 #7 Posted February 16, 2023 I also received an email 110$, either hackers gave them information about us or someone from a third party that is working with stake, This is no accident 100%

Just make sure you have 2FA and rotate your important passwords every few months or so.

girliegirl Posted February 16, 2023 #10 Posted February 16, 2023 this is for sure one of the best marketing strategies. Target all the high rollers from another casino. Give them a good bonus and for sure a lot of them will spend it at your casino. And it's Stake's own fault no protecting players details enough.
malahaygg Posted February 16, 2023 #11 Posted February 16, 2023 Yea i also got mail from a legit well-known casino from email account stake attached to, it was $30 coupon code that you claim like reloads at stake, its internet era idc every company knows everything already, i am enjoying free $30
thejunespirit Posted February 16, 2023 #12 Posted February 16, 2023 I got it, and enjoying it so far. Have to assume Stake leaked my email (maybe the sendgrid hack) as I rarely shared this one. All the more reason to move casino. Not just email leaked sorry, clearly VIP status and/or deposit history too. Am I surprised? Not at all. As I say though, this email address was nowhere to be found before the Sendgrid hack.
jungl3 Posted February 16, 2023 #13 Posted February 16, 2023 Damn, I'm sad that I've used the same email to make an account there. This is why I will never give stake my ID. An email address is one thing, but full ID, address and bank statements? Hahaha. Securely stored on our servers until somebody makes the right offer or we get phished for them👌 Inb4 stake restrict my account as punishment (you'd be doing me a fucking favour).

thejunespirit Posted February 17, 2023 #17 Posted February 17, 2023 Just now, Valeron said: They said that nothing was stolen and our data is safe, but in fact they have been sold for more than one month. All of our personal and billing information. I wonder what will lie now? They surprisingly admitted the Sendgrid hack, so not sure how they could claim our data is safe or that nothing was stolen 😂

billcolton Posted February 18, 2023 #20 Posted February 18, 2023 is it from roll or stake i dont understand
shorty573 Posted February 18, 2023 #21 Posted February 18, 2023 So this is why I've been getting random emails from casinos recently.
Hamil14 Posted February 18, 2023 #22 Posted February 18, 2023 Maybe that was a scam site, do not click that
