My stake handle is jamyr, I have not visited the Japanese section of stake chat. I speak and understand Nihonggo, however I dont write jap scripts. I learned the jap language while listening to Anime while reading english subtitles. xD

What is the role of a moderator?

In my understanding, a moderator is a chat participant too. Moderators should be natural in chat. Making it fun all the time is wishful thinking, but making sure that the chatroom is effective, inquiries are being given priority and upholding the Stake chatrules. 

Japanese folks are big fans of Games, and made up funtimes, the challenge would be to make sure the fun doesnt compromise following the rules.

I applied for this position because it would be fun and an honor to be a Stake moderator. I remember Micro being a lead mod too in Primedice. Also I'm a big fan of Stunna. Eddie, uhmmm okay...

I want to be a solution to problem(s). If I get to make Jap chat better and hopefully get more nihonggo speakers/chatters interact within that chatroom.

Back in 2018 I think, I got warned after trying to know where the line is to mutable and accepted. xD

Chat mods are so 2022 btw. 

I suggest you should call people who excell in mod duties, ambassadors.

Been offered twice elsewhere under a different handle, but I think there was no real need of my modship, so i passed.

Hello, my Stake Username is Armani08 and I would like to thank you for considering me for the moderator role on the Japanese chat. While I am currently not spending a lot of time on the Japanese chat, it is the chat I spend most time on. I am familiar with moderating communities as I have previously served as a moderator on Twitch.

To answer your first question, I used to be more active on the Japanese chat in the past, and I still have an interest in what is happening there. As evidence of this, I have even translated my stake page into Japan, showing my commitment to engaging with the japanese community. While I may not be as active as I once was, I am willing to make the necessary effort to fulfill my duties as a moderator and be an active member of the community once again.

The job of a moderator is to ensure that the chat remains a positive and welcoming environment for everyone involved. Moderators are responsible for enforcing the community guidelines, removing inappropriate content, and addressing any conflicts or issues that arise.

I want to become a moderator on this chat because I am passionate about creating and maintaining positive online communities. I believe that everyone should have a safe and enjoyable experience when interacting with others online, and I would like to contribute to making that a reality on this chat.

To answer your fourth question, while I have never been muted or banned on the Japanese chat, I may have been warned in the past. However, I always take warnings seriously and use them as an opportunity to learn and improve.

As I mentioned earlier, I have previously served as a moderator on Twitch. This experience has given me a solid understanding of what it takes to maintain a positive community online.
