Metega Posted March 3, 2023 #1 Posted March 3, 2023 Hello, I always have limit problems when placing bets. For example; There is only a $10 limit for a Euroleague game. does anyone have the same problem? What's the solution ?
thejunespirit Posted March 3, 2023 #2 Posted March 3, 2023 Are you a winning bettor? If so, that might be why you’re being limited. I have no limits (that I’ve noticed) but lost a lot so obviously not going to limit me.

Suspicion of arbitrage or value betting 2. Suspicion of match-fixing This story about limiting winning players is ridiculous. No sportsbook will limit you if you play legit and get lucky, but if you bet large amounts on relatively high odds, singles and shitty leagues (3rd division and lower) and win 9/10 bets, then ofc they have reason to look into your betting history in more details, and with such players there's always something to find. It's all about assessing risk. Betting on shitty leagues and winning is already suspicous because there is higher chance of match fixing and insider info about games in such leagues. They will immediatelly cut you. Betting on odds when they are always at the peak also risky, because it shows you are not recreational bettor and playing just for fun, but you are looking for value or arbitrage instead. They will immediatelly cut you. Also, many sportsbooks are connected through the same feed provider. And if you bet on opposite outcomes of the same game in different sites, they can still know. They will immediatelly cut you. You dont have to win 9/10 or even win that much to be limited, it's all about markets (pretty much what u say) You can't really place "surebet" on same provider so i dont think its possible to be caught like that

On 1 site at the end I can only place 10cent bets. If you win and are not profitable for them they will limit you, thats how this business works.

They will immediatelly cut you. You are wrong. Limiting winning players is a common thing. I was limited one time here on stake with 100$ max bet when i was on fire with 10 or more singles won in a row. The limits dissapeared magically when i lost few singles. This is very strange seeing many players wagering and having neverending green streaks not being limited. On some other site i was limited to 1$ bet after i placed and won my first and only bet for 20$... Betting on shitty leagues? I saw highrollers betting on minor russian table tennis leagues betting like 100k$ even though we all know table tennis is corrupted sport. They were not limited after this cause i seen another big bets by them next days. If they don't want us to bet on possibly corrupted leagues then remove them or set limits for everybody but of course cheating players by limiting them and removing limits when they are losing is nothing new in betting companies.
chos3n Posted March 3, 2023 #9 Posted March 3, 2023 TT is not some kind of "non-popular market" hunted by value bettors - its just some crap created only for betting purposes and you cant win that much on this market so they dont care about it much and have no reason to limit these games

You should try them out. Arbing there is great!
kitxd Posted March 4, 2023 #12 Posted March 4, 2023 Probably because you are absolutely winning most of your bets
Zamia2001 Posted March 24, 2023 #15 Posted March 24, 2023 Wish we can reverse the situations into limit on losses and unlimited on wins

yesilerik Posted March 31, 2023 #20 Posted March 31, 2023 Sports bet limit is related to your winnings (this is what I believe). If you are in profit, they generally limit the max amount you can bet.
youcheckibet Posted March 31, 2023 #21 Posted March 31, 2023 Mine have been limited worse recently, but on major sports it is fine.
Big Dallas Posted March 31, 2023 #22 Posted March 31, 2023 Bet limited is better than getting the account closed for some dumb reason like "investigation".
rommyh Posted April 6, 2023 #23 Posted April 6, 2023 very silly, used many bookies for sports bets, first time, that it doesn't let me bet on a 1.55. to mention, it was a really low bet as well. I've only been limited/manually checked on other sites if my bets are on random leagues, where match fixing is a reality (table tennis in this case, ofc possible on stake as well). but i've had it on football/soccer, esports #1 team, and the funny thing is, it didn't let me bet on the #1 team which I wanted to (max bet blabla), but just to test I went on the other team, and it went through. to recap, very disappointed with the so promoted #1 sports casino blabla, a random local casino doesn't do bs like that. someone mentioned kyc level as well, level 3, so I doubt honestly.
sx1214 Posted September 23, 2023 #24 Posted September 23, 2023 Can the 3 LV of KYC increase the betting limit?
