Kargai Posted April 3, 2018 #1 Posted April 3, 2018 Jimmy Song is one of the main developper of Bitcoin (at least one of the most well-known and active on social media) and he's also entrepreneur. In a very long article he explain why Bitcoin is different : https://medium.com/@jimmysong/why-bitcoin-is-different-e17b813fd947 He speak about how investing in BTC can be different and how Bitcoin is a system that, despite all the cloning, has yet to be truly replicated. For him the question "What would it take to displace Bitcoin?" have as answer "Most likely an innovation at least as big as Bitcoin itself or a bug that makes Bitcoin insecure." He don't believe that a little improvment here and there by other blockchain could change a lot of things. What about you ? Do you think BTC is strong enough now that lots of problems seemed behind ?
ravenyvolle2 Posted April 3, 2018 #2 Posted April 3, 2018 I think there are still a few things to improve to make bitcoins much stronger. And bitcoins will still be around for a couple of years regardless of any updates or improvements.
