kurian Posted April 7, 2018 #4 Posted April 7, 2018 BTC was around 5k in Indian exchanges day before yesterday due to the reserve bank of India's press release to prohibit Indian exchanges from doing transactions with banks. But, it came back up within few hours.

wry Posted April 7, 2018 #8 Posted April 7, 2018 The counter blow from the general financial system and insecure governments has been taking its toll. The latest is India made anti BTC comments - central bank wont allow exchanges to access banking system or something like that. I really think this will pass in time, but it may be a long long time before we see new highs for bitcoin again. Here's a line for the news: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-ethereum-prices-remain-steady-despite-crypto-ban-from-indias-central-bank
