Stuck with a ton of INR that I can't convert or withdraw

So,

As I do not have a bank account from India nor do I have any other way to withdraw this INR, I am stuck with it. I came into it from my affiliate earnings, as one of my affiliates I assume is from India. Now, after speaking with support, I am stuck with this currency that is essentially worthless. Stake support told me that they cannot convert it for me, nor am I able to purchase cryptocurrency via moonpay with it. Also, it cannot be tipped to another user so there goes any chance of me trading it for cryptocurrency on site. So, does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone out there have an indian bank account I could withdraw it to in exchange for Cryptocurrency? I don't think it's fair for Eddie and the team at Stake to allow users to be stuck with a non-local currency they can't do anything with. Stake must accommodate users who receive non-native currencies via affiliate earnings in some way. It's not the right thing to force users to get stuck with currencies they can't move, tip, or convert especially when the value exceeds an amount that eddie and the team could put into place. This would prevent the issue of users converting micro amounts that have virtually no value as well. A good starting point could be if the fiat currency is over $1 in USD, you can convert it or purchase your cryptocurrency of choice or fiat of choice.

Hello the only thing you can do is make a overseas bank account in any Indian bank with tons of information regarding it. Because you cannot just ask someone for indian bank account just to withdraw the money it doesn't work like that , you need to have a bank account with your name on it . And Indian banks and stake itself will not allow for transaction in someone else's account. Making Bank account in india will cost you less than 75$ with all of the money being deposit.

Hello friend, within the Stake wallet, you will find the option to buy cryptocurrency with local money. In your case you will buy with INR.

I'm Brazilian and our local currency is BRL, I haven't bought cryptocurrency in this option yet. But there is for us Brazilians this option to buy cryptocurrency with local money.

If you don't have this option for you within Stake. only way to make the withdrawal. It will be by creating an account in some Indian digital bank and after withdrawal move to your cryptocurrency wallet and thus you will have your money

Wow. This is pretty interesting. I think they definately should have an option where you can swap your fiat affiliate earnings for crypto via support. I also don't think you can possibly withdraw it to a bank account that's not under your name.

But it's pretty interesting and i never thought about it. For example what happens to streamers when their affiliates play with FIAT lol, does it just sit in their stake balance forever? xD
