Ryzen7 Posted August 6, 2017 #1 Posted August 6, 2017 "We are pleased to announce that on August 1st 2017, Bitcoin Cash (BCC) successfully launched." was one of the main news for me and probably fair to say everyone involved with Crytocurrency. At 18:24:41 UTC, ViaBTC pool produced a 1.9 MB BCC block, which was not valid on the legacy Bitcoin network. This marked a clean break and the birth of Bitcoin Cash. Here is the official site with all the info one might need starting from wallets and exchanges, benefits and questions. https://www.bitcoincash.org/ What do you think about this one were you as excited as me ?
Dan Posted August 6, 2017 #2 Posted August 6, 2017 I sold all my Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and ended up investing into Antshares. Hopefully Antshares will outperform BTC, but nobody really knows do they Also before I drift off conversation too far, it took me 24 hours to get 20 confirmations on the BCH network... that is horrible if the reason Bitcoin Cash was created, was to reduce transaction time.
singpays Posted August 7, 2017 #3 Posted August 7, 2017 live price bitcoin cash 0.07795 its going again up https://hitbtc.com/exchange/BCC-to-BTC
Jenn09 Posted August 7, 2017 #4 Posted August 7, 2017 Wow i didnt know that BCC has a higher value now a days i just recieved somewhere. If thats the case i will hold up my BCC instead.

Why do you like Antshares ? I just know the name but not if there is a specific reason (technical or other) to keep an eye on it. Even if now that you mentionned it i'll probably follow that crypto more accurently

They used to be over 0.4btc each but as people realized it wasn't worth holding they dumped it all the way down to 0.2 then 0.06 If I had bch I would probably drop it off now.
Kargai Posted August 7, 2017 #7 Posted August 7, 2017 I guess the coin will work for a while, just the traders will make her exist for a long time trying to make some bucks with it. But like lolgato i don't see BCC go to the moon neither I'll keep the (very) little amount i have just in case but don't plan to do anything with it for now.

Even if now that you mentionned it i'll probably follow that crypto more accurently Antshares, now known as NEO, is the Chinese version of ethereum. Not only does it have the backing of the Chinese economy (probably the most influential in the world) but it also allows you to code your smart contracts in any language that you like. This is incredibly powerful, considering users and developers wont need to learn solidity (the ethereum programming language) in order to use the blockchain. I am sure you are aware of the power of smart contracts and the practical uses of blockchain technology in everyday activities. I really like NEO and its future looks promising. I ended up putting all my crypto holdings into them a few days ago, and I haven;t really regretted it

So it must be very useful for lots of people. So putting some btc into it doesn't seem like a bad plan too me

So many cryptos out there it's difficult to follow them all in details But I agree with you that the possibility to code contracts in any language is a huge feature in comparison to others coins. That alone is enough to keep an eye on the coin. Thanks again Dan

Dan Posted August 9, 2017 #13 Posted August 9, 2017 I don't want to steal the attention away form the main topic though! Does anyone feel like BTC can hold strong once segwit occurs on the main chain? I feel that if things fail on the BTC chain, then BCH will fly to the moon! If segwit works without a hitch and everything it promises happens, then we might see BTC merge back to the main chain.

I think those two will stay separate and BTC prise will be slowly rising.
Kargai Posted August 9, 2017 #15 Posted August 9, 2017 Same for me, if segwit is ok i see the BCH falling by the end of the year around 100-150$. If segwit appear not rolling smoothly we can see a flip between the coin's value, not directly but in the coming months or years.
Dan Posted August 10, 2017 #16 Posted August 10, 2017 Apparently the issue was that Bittrex required 20 confirmations, which took forever. I don;t think all exchanges and services require that many.
chehol Posted August 10, 2017 #17 Posted August 10, 2017 I think that this coin has no future like that of Bitcoin.
rack001 Posted August 12, 2017 #18 Posted August 12, 2017 I am holding some bitcoin cash ! When at launch it went down I sold some but now its going a little up so holding it ! Btw great investment in Antshares @Dan ! I heard its great soon gonna invest in it!

KittWolfe Posted August 16, 2017 #21 Posted August 16, 2017 Just wanna ask if bitcoin does have a hard fork then does that mean there will be alot of BCH?
Administrator Edward Posted August 16, 2017 Administrator #22 Posted August 16, 2017 Sold out some of mine, gonna hold for a bit. I think it definitely has potential.
KittWolfe Posted August 16, 2017 #24 Posted August 16, 2017 I just thought of some theory that if btc price is pumping bch is will be dump and when BTC is dumping BCH would pump. any idea if it is possible?
testB Posted August 17, 2017 #25 Posted August 17, 2017 BCH gained quite a lot today. Much KRW and BTC going after it.
