How to start joining airdrops?

Hey everyone!

So I wanna help those people who really likes to join some airdrops but don't know how to start it.

So what is airdrop?

 

Airdrop is when a blockchain project or ICO distributes free tokens or coins to its community.

There are actually two types of airdrops, the automatic airdrop wherein it is done by forking chains like the ones in bitcoin, bitcoincash, litecoin etc. The other type is an Incentive Airdrop it is one marketing strategy of a new ICO project to give free coins to the community wherein you have to do some simple tasks in exchange of those tokens/coins.
 

To join airdrops what you need to do is:

1. Create an Eth Address, it should be an ERC20 eth address and not an Exchange Eth address. 

If you don't have one, you can use MEW. here is a tutorial to have one

2. You need to have social media accounts for you to join some simple tasks that they may require. Most of the social media that is needed are Telegram, Twitter, Facebook or Bitcointalk and others maybe added.

 

3. you can check available airdrops on bitcointalk and some search engine. All you have to do is follow the instructions given and provide all the necessary details such as your Erc20 compatible address and social media. 

4. They will deliver or send your free coins/tokens once the sale or ICO is finished. 

 

What's good about airdrops is that its free and you do it in less than 5 minutes. Sometimes it can give give a lot in $ sometimes could be just cents, that is why you should also check the project :)

 

Note: Always remember to also check if the ico or the project is legit.
