Always curious how maany people actually know you can request slightly lower tension on the crosses to widen the sweet spot a bit. Makes a subtle but real difference if you have elbow issues.

watched this while procrastinating stringing my own sticks actually, the 2x speed makes the tension pull look way smoother than it feels when you're wrestling with a poly at 60lbs lol. reminded me of last week when i zoned out and missed a weave on the third cross and had to redo the whole half of the bed... never again

I remember my old coach used to let me pull tension on his machine as a kid, and I snapped a set of gut strings instantly. Watching your video brings back that stress but also the satisfaction of seeing a fresh bed all tied off and neat.

Never really thought about how much tension consistency matters until seeing it done step by step like that. Kind of wild how a couple pounds off can change the entire feel of the racket.

That weaving rhythm is so smooth at double speed, almost like watching a rally where every shot hits the sweet spot. I'd put my money on your string jobs outlasting most of the baseline grinders I bet on lately lol

sweet video, that clamp work is super clean. if you ever deal with gut strings try a tiny bit of beeswax on the knots, stops them snapping so often and makes life way easier.

this was weirdly calming to watch even sped up, never thought id be this into a stringing vid lol. do you ever mess around with hybrid setups or mostly stick to what the cients ask for.

I love how methodical the whole process feels, it’s basically a meditation ritul at that point. Tried doing my own once and the tension completely humbled me, so respect for nailing it daily.
