Relax, i am not saying this pertaining to stake or primedice only but as online gambling sites in general.

Have you ever wondered that one day you are playing and all you press seems all red that you think the site or game is being rigged?

I wonder a lot of times about this. And i thought maybe at times or some hours in a day, if a lot of players are winning, devs or owners will rig the site and increase their house edge to maybe compensate that days losses.

Its just a hunch because it is gambling anyway, real life casinos do that, i am aware, so why cant the online gambling can do that to. What do you think? Any input or opinions you guys want to share?:)

I don’t really know for some, but they say that probably fair sites cannot be rigged or manipulated.

As there is also a process wherein you can check your bets.

Yeah I think provably fair is nice to reassure you. Sometimes when roulette is sucking all the satoshi from me I think this is rigged! Then I remember provably fair and I realize it's just variance. I can't wait for release of provably youprofit! I think this will be a big step forward xD

I have asked a friend of mine. Admin of a gambling site and said that it can be rigged. It is easy to tweak those codes the admin said

Hahaha who knows if he can manipulate but they say no, they have it in secret, if they own creators, owners and administrators and say they do not have access to it I do not think so

There is a big possibilities. User's will never know or notice if the will do that. They are just showing us that they are fair in some statements but how do we know it's real. But the good thing is site letting us win sometimes to make it look fair. hahaha!

Online gambling sites are businesses (including stake). Their goal is to make a profit. They can easily rigged a bet to make sure that they'll get the profit they want without being suspicious. They can easily do it, like for example.

User - 1, 3, 7 , 9 , 11 , 13 will lose (3.2BTC) on monday // User 2 , 4 , 6, 8, 10 will win up to (2.2BTC) on monday = the sites takes the 1BTC as there profit. They can set there system to shuffle the users or generate the losing users and winning users. lol wth dugo na ilong ko. You guys know what i mean!

Hello,

I must admit that I have already asked the question several times, but I think it's about the excitement, because I think in the opposite direction when I win, I think only one second that stake is rigged? So not for my part everyone has the same luck you just have to know how to seize it at the right time with the right bet.

Good luck and good luck to all friends.

If you are really a gambler you should know the answer :) devs can rig every single bet you made :) but that will cause a huge commotion and problem to the site, some site have the so called "automatic profit" like a mining process and if that hits the pot, the game will be stable and will have a good hit :) (I kinda know because of the old site the first one I used to play and it's now closed)

I know the answer for this, as my cousin is a programmer. He shared that unless there is someone "behind the curtains" or its algorithm is designed to favor a "red" side over the other, it cannot be manipulated. Also, the seed factor makes it even difficult for the operator (casino) to rig the site unless they intentionally omit the client seed from the generation of the numbers appearing on every roll/bet of a certain game that the site is offering.

Technically possible, but doesn’t make sense long-term because once someone finds out and the trust is broken... all the effort to build is gone down the drain.

I could see this being a thing for small, privately-run establishments, so still be careful out there! 😁

the person with coding who can develope site and games, can do anything he can manipulate the games, he can change the results, he can change the ods whatever he wants, but fair sites like stake is not one of them.

Yeah surely a developer(or person with admin access) can easily rigg the game if they want , but as nuuuitsjdragon mentioned above it's not viable for long term business.

Most of the scam site do this kind of stuff

Almost every gambling sites have provably fair verification system at their site. So you can check the bets by this and see is it rigged or not. I think if they want they can force you to loss. But you can catch the cheating. And all gambling sites have their own reputation so they are not going to do it. Even those gambling sites that scam and run with peoples money also provide provably verifiable game with fairness. Truly I can't say, but maybe deve can do it if they want.
