Bitcoin Wallet that works without internet

You heard it right. There is amew wallet. A new bitcoin wallet that works without internet. 

Siblings namely Daniela and Jorge Perdomo, is partnering with Samourai Wallet to launch this summer an Android app that users can use to send bitcoin payments without an internet connection.

How cool is that?

but how is it possible to send bitcoin without an Internet connection, because bitcoin passes through the network and the miners confirm the transactions, otherwise the bitcoin can not fly as an SMS

Not possible at all. Maybe setting everything up.. but somewhen you need a connection to the blockchain to get everything set and done.

This will be nothing more than a digital paperwallet.

This project is very helpful when comes to area that doesn’t have such internet signal and had some disasters scenario.

Okay I've read it. goTenna device. So this only works, if any device is in close range to your device. If not, that won't help you at all.

Ok another device should be near to sync but its misleading that it can sync witouth internet. 

Any blockchain sync requires some internet condition.

Anyhow it need internet indirectly though

 

You should read the source to understand.

There will be phones for it. You need one of them to use it. If you're in an area where no internet works, you just need someone else in a radius of 1 mile with internet connection. Your phone then connects automatically through it to the internet to send a transaction.

You don't need it on your phone, but you need any device that can connect to the internet in your radius. Still this idea is good and I hope that they can make it better over itme.

Such transactions may not be safe, I will become a target for hackers. But the idea is interesting.

But what i am saying is it isnt a no internet wallet since somehow it needs internet indirectly. And also we would sometimes have to pay the phone that has internet in the radius.
