Stake Poker

I'm a US player, and stake poker is already over there. They keep adding new features, so it's coming along. Rake is standard, 5% per hand for cash games, 10% for tournies. Once it reaches a certain point in development, I expect them to add it to .com too, although I'm not sure how they'll handle the different currencies there.

However, there is a big issue, which is that none of the play counts as wager.

Due to how it's programmed, none of what you bet on cash hands or pay as entries in tournies count as wager. You get no wager, no rakeback. None of the losses are recorded in your statistics, so you get nothing in terms of lossback, weekly and monthly bonuses, etc. You can't claim codes. None of it counts.

This is insane because the game has a 5-10% house edge and has ZERO risk for stake. Every other poker site is capable of tracking your wager hand to hand and giving you appropriate rewards. I really hope stake addresses this issue soon.

What is the cap of the rake in cashgame?

Hopefully they will add it to the wager - theoretically it should be counted the same way as sports bets (x3)

The cap for 0.5/0.1 is:

SC 0.5/1    5%    SC    1SC    2.5SC     3.5 SC

For 2, 3+, and 5+ players.

So for full ring game, maximum 3.5 raked from each pot.

I think we’ve seen over and over again, that Stake is really fast to improve if they have any lacks.

I think they will make Poker very lucrative to play on Stake.definitely with some monthly bonuses or weekly bonuses being counted in on statistics, and would really surprise me if they didn’t include Rake back.

Congratulations on being one of the 1st to play poker on Stake. I can’t wait to see it on the .com platform.

I also receive casino bonuses and have not noticed such problems here. You should always look for alternatives to compare with. So if you are not too attached - do it (you do not risk anything).

The rake system in Stake Poker has significant shortcomings, but they can be solved. I think everything will be ok.

I’ve played on a few platforms where I could track my bets, and it makes a huge difference when you can see those stats add up for bonuses and rakeback. I had a good experience recently with a site that has a  bonuscodepoker.com Bonus Code. It felt awesome to get some extra perks just for playing. The fact that Stake doesn’t track wagers is frustrating, especially since you can’t get anything back from losses or earn rewards. When I was playing on a site that did track everything, I saw my efforts pay off in bonuses at the end of the month, which kept me motivated to play more.
