Moderation suggestions

After a few days of observing the chat on the site, I'm surprised by several points.

I've noticed that in English chat, moderators usually tag the person they've muted so that everyone can find out about it. This actually should be mandatory to limit abuse of power by moderators. For example, I sometimes chat with someone who stops replying without any apparent reason, only to learn 2 days later that he has been muted without anyone noticing. Those mute also seems quite excessive and  I suspect moderators of removing some regular players in order to increase their chances of hitting rains.

The only way out is by doing an appeal. By the way the appeals procedure should be carried out by other moderators than the one that actually muted the player. Indeed you can't be judge and be judge. This is a basic principle of law which should be applied if the appeal is to be worthy of the name.

Finally, is there any way of reporting comments about a particular moderator? The support team on the site claims that it's not their responsibility. As if the chat was an entity independent of the site, which doesn't make much sense. I don't want to do this publicly either.

Hello @Justine,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Thank you for your suggestions as well.

Appeals are always answered by moderator who muted you, because that moderator will explain the reason for your mute.

If you have complaints on moderators and their work, feel free to contact us via email [email protected]

Kind regards,

Sanja
