Hello, dear chatters!  B|

As you already know, Stake has some new mods/community managers and we need to make their life a bit easier by implementing some basic Rules for you to follow and for them to be guided by. Each chat should have these and they should be followed if you want to be a valuable/respected member of the community.

 

  1. Don’t spam & don’t use excessive capital letters when chatting.
  2. Don't harass or be offensive to other users or Stake staff.
  3. Don’t share any personal information (including socials) of you or other players.
  4. Don't beg or ask for loans, rains or tips.
  5. Don't use alternative (alts) accounts on chat, that is strictly forbidden.
  6. No suspicious behavior that can be seen as potential scams.
  7. Don't engage in any forms of advertising/trading/selling/buying or offering services.
  8. No discussion of streamers or KICK or any other similar platforms.
  9. Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the full link.
  10. Don’t share codes, scripts or any other bot service.
  11. Only use the language specified in the chat channel, potential abuse will be sanctioned.
  12. No politics & no religion talk in chat, this one is strictly forbidden.

 

* Sub-rules and their further elaboration are given in the "Quote" below, so make sure to read that as well, for you to be fully informed on what is allowed on Stake chatrooms and what it prohibited.

* Moderators/support members/admins and community manages save the right to implement the rules as they see fitting and corresponding to the given situation.
* If player has been muted multiple times over the same offense, their mute time would be extended, and it would slowly end to the permanent disabling of chat privilege, especially if their behavior does not correct after multiple warnings/mutes.
* Rules can be changed and adjusted based on the needs of the community.
* For some more serious breaking of our chat rules, you may be muted without being previously warned.

1) Don’t spam & don’t use excessive capital letters when chatting. -  Spam is every irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent on the Internet to a large number of recipients. Spamming, and low quality chat are tightly connected with rain farming. This means that sending random messages with no context just in order to stay active in chat in order to catch rain is not allowed, and that you have to engage in real conversation with other users. *CAPS MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE YELLING! Makes chat look cluttered, and can get you muted for this. Overusing of different fonts and symbols could result in a mute, cluttering chat in any way is prohibited.

2) Don't harass or be offensive to other users or Stake staff. - Harassing/bullying (in this case, cyber-bullying) sends inappropriate message about you - whether of being racist, chauvinist, sexist or just plainly uneducated individual. Reduce using the profanities to a minimum. Be friendly and jolly person that everyone looks forward to seeing on chat. Make friends, not enemies. *Additional note: Females also like playing here, so let's make them feel like queens, not objects.

3) Don’t share any personal information (including socials) of you or other players. - Please, respect the privacy of other players, as well as your own. Posting any personal info of another player will get you muted; this includes real life names/surnames, e-mails, social media links/tags/ids, address, phone number, and any other information that may jeopardize users' privacy. Bypassing this rule by using your "Client Seed" name is also not allowed.

4) Don't beg or ask for loans, rains, tips or doubling coins. - One of the most common reasons to get people muted is asking for funds. Make a deposit, claim a Reload or get a random tip from our friendly administrators, moderators, community managers and support members. If you wager and chat constructively, rain-bot will award you too. Doubling coins would mean investing in someone to play for you, and return you the funds afterwards. If anyone from support, moderators or community managers notice this is happening, you could end up muted. If we notice you passively begging for funds too, especially after the rain-bot implementation, we also keep the right to mute the users that are there for this reason only, to collect rains. It is up to management to assess the given passive begging situation and act accordingly. Pasting your deposit/withdrawal address on chat will be considered passive begging too, accident or not, so be careful. Also, do not thank the rain-bot, it has no feelings. Do not complain about the rain-bot or/and missed rains. Tipping those who actively wager/are in the middle of the game or on the HRs tab to attract their attention and expecting a bigger tip in return also falls under the category of passive begging.

5) Don't use alternative accounts (alts) on chat, that is strictly forbidden. Alternative accounts (alts) aren't allowed to be used on chat, and especially if your main account is muted - this is considered mute evasion. Choose one account and use it on chat, no exceptions would be tolerated. If we catch you with alternative account on chat we reserve the rights to mute both of your accounts. 

If you claim that other user has alternative accounts, and our system proves the opposite, you could end up muted, because you are ruining other user's reputation by making such serious false accusations. 

If you claim that you own more than one account, and our system proves contrary, you may end up muted. Even joking about such serious claims will not be tolerated, because it is considered as spreading misinformation.

6) No suspicious behavior that can be seen as potential scams or abuse. It is forbidden to invite users for correspondence to third-party messengers (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, etc), as well as inviting them to groups on the mentioned social media and instant messengers. It is forbidden to distribute any personal and contact information about players there as well. Impersonating is strictly forbidden!!! Using well-known users' variations of username and/or just changing one letter or number to create a distraction will be considered a serious transgression and the accounts will end up perm-muted since this falls under abuse and suspicious activity with the potential to scam/misguide others. It is forbidden to talk/promote any service like Virtual Private Network or any scheme for bypassing our regularity for the restricted areas by the ToS.

7) Don't engage in any forms of advertising/trading/selling/buying or offering services. (Traded accounts are permanently muted). - Stake site is for betting only. Also, if we find you playing from a bought account, the account will receive a permanent mute. Do not post links advertising products of any kind, because our site does not support this type of activity. Affiliate links are forbidden even if they are from the Stake platform. Mentioning other gambling sites is not allowed and doing so will be considered advertising. Don't share any bonus codes/coupon links or any kind of offer even if they are from Stake too. Bypassing this rule by using your "Client Seed" name is also not allowed. Mentioning other platforms that are not related to Stake, will be considered as advertising.

8)No discussion of streamers or KICK or any other similar platforms. You are not allowed to have a discussion about Twitch or any other similar platforms; also, you are not allowed to post or promote links to your/streams or your/streamer's usernames (KICK, YouTube or any alternative streaming platform). Saying you are "live" or inviting players on chat to join your stream is also strictly forbidden. Make sure to invite players outside Stake platform to join the site, otherwise you could be muted without a warning, if we notice you repeating this offence. 

9) Don't use URL shortening services. Always submit the full link. - If you are sharing a link with your chat friends, post the full link, not the shortened version of it. Please, do not post referral links on chat. Don't share the Bonus Drop and Coupon codes you acquire from Telegram and/or Kick on chat either. Bypassing this rule by using your "Client Seed" name is also not allowed. Don't try to play smart. Don't share links of other sites on chat, this is Stake.com platform. Modifying the name of that site is still considered as a transgression, so don't play smart.

10) Don’t share codes, scripts or any other bot service. - Stake has always considered their players' safety very seriously, so posting any codes, scripts or any bots is strictly forbidden. Using chat bot in order to stay active in chat to catch rains may result in permanent mute.

11) Only use the language specified in the chat channel, potential abuse will be sanctioned. -  - It's essential to follow the rules and guidelines the platform sets to ensure a positive experience for all users. Staying in your native language chat room can help maintain clear communication and foster a friendly environment. 
- Jumping between rooms is considered a potential abuse of the chat room benefits, and therefore, it is not allowed. In case you want to change the chat room, you must create an appeal (Appeal section) to request a transfer; note that there must be a valid reason - This rule does not apply to the English/Sports/Challenges rooms since these rooms are Global rooms, and all English-speaking users are welcome. You will be able to use the new room after 24 hours of approval - so your account will be muted for 24 hours.  Don't get yourself muted for such a trivial reason.

- If you jump between local chat rooms, you will be muted for 24 hours, if it is the first time you are breaking this rule. 

If you repeat it again, you will be muted for 7 days. If you switch between local chat rooms again, you will be muted for 30 days.

12) No politics & no religion talk in chat, this one is strictly forbidden. - On Stake.com all religions are equal and we don't make any differences among them so avoid any topic about it. Keep the politics outside the Stake it is strictly forbidden.

13) Responsible Gambling - Gambling can be an enjoyable pastime for many people, providing entertainment and the thrill of taking a risk. However, for some individuals, gambling can become more than just a harmless activity. It can develop into a serious problem that affects various aspects of their lives. If we notice signs of these issues, you will be removed from the chat and provided with help links, and the team in charge will take all necessary actions which they find suitable.

When and if you get muted, please, make an appeal on this SECTION here, and person who muted you would check it and review your case as soon as they are back online (24/48h). We don't currently believe ref links as long as they are clearly visible are an issue on the forum. We rely heavily on other websites permitting users to refer players to stake, so it would be counter intuitive to do the opposite in return.

As for the forum rules, they are fairly similar and found on the breadcrumb element, at top and bottom of forum. (on the right)
