In my belief, the job of a moderator is to ensure that the chat remains respectful & appropriate, whilst handling any disputes or queries from other users. A moderator creates a positive environment where users feel they are safe and listened to. Moderators ensure the upkeep of this by managing the chat's flow via rules and engagement. Moderators should be someone to classify as a friend, but also to be firm. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? I have seen regular occurrences of rule breaking, spam and negative comments. I would like to be someone who people can ask for help, whilst managing the negativity. I honestly believe I can make Stake a better place, as I am passionate about the website, and have worked in a similar environment. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? Yes, I am currently muted right now for a week (great timing). I am not proud of this, as I was copying and pasting funny comments on chat, I only noticed it was a derogatory comment after posting it. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? Not a moderator, but I was recently a live chat advisor for an online gambling company. Here we dealt with customer queries, handling withdrawals and deposits, KYC verification, anti-money laundering and dealt with emails. Are you prepared to work at nighttime? Absolutely!
