Ricardoβs Christmas Light
Ricardo lived in a small town where winter nights were long and quiet. Every December, the houses glowed with colorful lights, but Ricardoβs house stayed dark. His family didnβt have much, and decorations felt like a luxury.
On Christmas Eve, Ricardo found an old, broken lantern in the shed. It didnβt shine brightly, but after cleaning it and placing a small candle inside, it gave off a warm, gentle glow. Ricardo set it by the window.
That night, a snowstorm swept through town. A tired traveler, lost and cold, noticed the faint light from Ricardoβs window. Guided by it, he knocked on the door. Ricardoβs family welcomed him in, shared their simple meal, and offered a place by the fire.
By morning, the storm had passed. The traveler left with a smile and a blessing, and Ricardo realized something important: even the smallest light can guide someone home.
That year, Ricardoβs house didnβt have the brightest decorationsβbut it had the warmest Christmas of all.
