Got banned from playing poker recently, and honestly, it turned out to be a good thing. I barely ever open Stake now, which means I don’t even think about depositing or losing more money. Funny how it worked out for the better.

I wouldnt be surprised if there were bots in the poker room, given the poor security and the incompetence of the stake team.

The previous stake setting was good now they had just made the free roll poker worst before it was of 2.30hrs approx now made it of 3.30+hrs also they made it worst by adding reentry system also the price distribution was good before and the best function I liked was that we would previously could see all our hands in detailed during match that to has been removed overall I think stake is making the free roll worst by making changes in it, should be remove all new setting and make it like older and also remove re entry system and if adding reentry increase the price to atleast $1000-1500.i think in coming days they will remove free poker tournament also. @stake ceo #stakepoker

an example of how incompetent they are: the bad beat jackpot fund is also unsustainable with the current traffic, but this doesn't even occur to them
 
 

Its clear that the stake poker community took a massive hit from the update. there use to be 10-12 50NL and 100NL games running daily. there are now 3-4 with most being single player tables. revert the changes made. it is not that hard to see the update killed the site. there are numerous posts now about how terrible the update was and how useless the poker team for stake is.

Then do like me bro, play on another poker room until a corrective update is coming. We rake a lot of money but they doesnt care about us. I cashed out my bankroll and waiting for an update

Even the forum moderator doesnt answer at these problems. Honestly i dont think they care about customers, they just care about making money

Please delete tables limitation and bring back the possibility to choose tables and waiting lists 😊

Ring games were basically almost perfect then the updated severely hindered it. Tournaments got a upgrade though which is nice but at the cost of ring games isn't worth it to me. 

Stake Poker is in a strong position to grow, especially in states like Florida where its sweepstakes model gives it a legal and competitive edge. With fewer poker options available, Stake has a real chance to dominate the market.
But recent changes are holding it back. The removal of standard 6 max and 9 max tables is a major issue. These are the most popular formats in online poker, and replacing them with 5 and 8 player tables has led to slow, half-empty games. Right now, 5 player tables are practically unplayable, and 8 player ones often sit half full.
On top of that, the new table selection system has frustrated players. You can’t choose your table or join a waiting list anymore, you just get dropped into random, short-handed games. Many users are spending more time switching tables than actually playing. That said, it's worth noting that Stake has done an excellent job improving its tournament offerings. The structure, variety, and value have all taken a big step forward.  If the platform takes the same player-first approach with its cash games it could truly stand out in the market.
Stake has the opportunity to lead in a market with little competition. But to do that, it needs to bring back 6 max and 9 max tables and restore manual table selection. The demand is there. Now it’s just a matter of listening to the players.

As Someone who has played stake poker for the last 8-12 months The new update is the worst poker change I have seen any website make. What made stake poker great was you could play more than 6 tables at different stakes which is now taken away slowing the action and causing regulars to leave. When you are playing 6 tables, you can no longer replay a played hand because you already have 6 tables open and the platform wont let you. Grouping the tables has now made it insanely hard to find a table with more than 2 players on it causing you to continuously buy in and leave tables until the program puts you on a full table which can take 20-30 minutes every time a table breaks.  I understand you want to protect fish and stop bum hunting, but this format is making the website so clunky you are doing the opposite and causing the player pool to leave the website.. Instead just make player names and stack sizes hidden before joining the table.. THIRD, when you join the table you start with 40BB and have to manually top up, I have no words for this its just sloppy and looks like a brokie poker website that just started out.  the bad beat jackpot is whatever, a rake back leader board would have been a better way to reward the playerbase.  
To end, what made stake worth playing despite the outrageous 7% rake to fund those F1 wheels was the player selection, the ability to play as many tables as you wanted, the good UI, the rake back. With the new changes, all of the regulars have left for Coin poker or Clubspoker which is sad to see. I literally see same usernames on Clubspoker now that use to play on stake. Please revert the changes to save the website  till then I will be playing on other platforms like many before me as I watch the pool dry up from a far. 
Id like to add to while im at it. CHANGE THE CHEATER DETECTION. or fire the entire poker team. Hire me for christ sake ill do it on the side while in medical school to stop this shit. I am prohibited to play with random players I played months ago on a random night for legitimately no reason. When you are prohibited to play with these players you aren't given any evidence or able to contact the poker team. I have come to the conclusion that the poker team or whoever is reviewing the auto collusion detector has never played online poker or even understands the game. If a fish punts you two buy ins heads up. THIS IS NOT COLLUSION. at least not probably. check IP adresses and player history, do not just ban both players and prohibit them when they rejoin. what a weird amateur system. they players should be allowed to refute and provide evidence to claims made against them. If two regs are prohibited to play against eachother, they are essentally barred from playing 50% of games on a ruling made by randoms who clearly dont know what they are doing (as seen in the recent update) 
everything aside, Stake was actually a diamond in the rough of a poker site while it lasted. So sad to see what it has become

Is there any possibility that players found a way to have open cards on Stake?
I'm seriously thinking that the platform need an audit.

Look at that spot, versus a chinese players that is far away to be a bad players as I saw.
